ARE DEMOCRATS DOOMED? In the last few days, there has been some buzz among Democrats that maybe, after all the talk about being headed toward defeat in this year's midterm elections, they might not be in such bad shape after all. For four reasons: One, redistricting has gone better than expected in some important states. Two, job creation has been robust. Three, COVID cases are falling. And four, Republicans might blow themselves up.

Longtime Democratic pollster and strategist Stanley Greenberg told Politico that while he is "not very optimistic" about his party's chances of keeping control of the House, he could still put together a victory scenario: "I see the strength of the economy and worker leverage coming to matter late," Greenberg said. "Prices are supposed to edge down. Democrats will pass Build Back Better in some form and government funding that shows a lot of visible benefit for families — all opposed by Republicans. The tax on corporations and Republicans fighting them is a huge potential motivator...........

They're not DOOMED, no. The Republicans still have terrible problems. The Republicans weren't DOOMED either, when Biden won and swept both houses of Congress.

The Democrats will lose the mid-terms.

God only knows who will be in the 2024 Presidential race, and who will win it.

Biden v. Trump? Harris v. Trump? Hillary v. Trump? Hillary v. DeSantis?

Who knows. Biden is so old, there's no predicting it.

If Putin blows it and invades Ukraine, Biden will shine, because NATO cannot lose and Russia cannot win, so he'll be basking in the glow of being a victorious Commander-in-Chief, and Afghanistan will be forgotten.

And a Biden-inspired NATO is going to "be victorious" over a Russian force rolling into Ukraine by WHEN? By this coming November's midterms? Or by November 2024?

I sincerely doubt it...and you KNOW China would take advantage of NATO's focus on Eastern Europe to roll into Taiwan, unchallenged. I just don't see WagTheDog working to Bidenz advantage.. MUD

Putin is smarter than Biden is. Even in Biden's prime.

Russia isn't going to invade.

Biden will probably go to Ukraine and declare he saved the world.
