LOL Joe Maddon looks ridiculous in that winter pom pom knit cap.
With the scruff beard and those VA issue heavy black rimmed glasses, he looks like some Flushing Queens bum who just rolled out of an OTB to catch the game in the upper decks.

you would think a team from Chi-town would be used to it . Yesterday was a typical autumn day . I was outside a good part of the day in a short sleeve shirt digging up my harvest of sweet potatoes.

Yank fans are calling sports radio and saying that if the Mets don't want to sign Murphy next year that there is an opening on the Yanks. Not sure about that . Murphy looks like he is one of those post-season phenoms that comes out of nowhere and just as quickly disappear. Experts who follow the Mets are saying that there is alot of his game that's deficient.
But the Mets fans are calling in fretting about the team possibly not signing Murphy and Cespedes next year . They should just enjoy the moment and worry about next year in November .

Not sure about that... Dickie is beatable(11-11, 3.91) . Young is a flyball pitcher . The Rogers Centre gives up a lot of home runs. Good thing the Royals BP is well rested .

Jays going with game one starter Marco Estrada instead of moving Price up on short rest . Could get interesting . The Jays did not hit Volquez hard ;and they had to go deep into their bullpen yesterday .

Pitching wise the Royals have the match ups if the starters can go 6 innings cause the BP is deep and shutdown capable, which was in evidence last night. I would have to say Royals in 5 maybe 6...One more and the Canucks are eliminated.

All I can say is I hope he learned from that mistake, if not then next year will be disappointing too...
And learn to trust some of the younger players more, some of the veterans stunk in that series...

Yeah they played better than I thought by sweeping the Cubs, I was expecting this series to go at least 6 maybe 7 games...

The Mets may have other reasons for getting rid of him besides his performance on the field . He made what are considered controversial comments about the homosexual lifestyle (ie he expressed his Christian beliefs ) .
