Religion Title: Trump Doesn’t Refute Comment on Obama, Muslims Trump Doesn’t Refute Comment on Obama, Muslims At his first post-debate campaign event, Republican front-runner Donald Trump on Thursday declined to refute a questioner who declared that Muslims are a “problem” in America and reiterated the long-debunked rumor that President Barack Obama is a Muslim. The first question to Mr. Trump at a town hall rally in Rochester, N.H., came from a man who asserted, “We’ve got a problem in this country, it’s called Muslims. We know the president is one.” He added: “You know he’s not even an American.” The questioner went on to ask Mr. Trump what he would do to address Muslim “training camps” in the U.S., where people “want to kill us.” He concluded: “That’s my question. When can we get rid of ‘em?” Mr. Trump acknowledged the question but didn’t refute the premise. “We’re going to be looking a lot of different things. A lot of people are saying that and a lot of people are saying bad things are happening out there.” Mr. Trump, who in 2011 pushed the false notion that Mr. Obama is not a natural- born citizen and pushed for him to release his birth certificate until the White House finally did so, did not address the man’s contention that Mr. Obama, who is a Christian, is Muslim. The allegation that Mr. Obama is Muslim has long festered among some Republicans. In October 2008 then-GOP presidential nominee John McCain scolded a woman at a Minnesota town hall event who said Mr. Obama couldn’t be trusted because “he’s an Arab.” Mr. McCain seized the microphone from the woman. “No, ma’am, no, ma’am,” he said. “He’s a decent family man, citizen, that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues, and that’s what this campaign’s all about. He’s not.” Mr. Trump made no such admonition. Mr. Trump also used the event to hit back against GOP presidential rival Carly Fiorina, who landed several rhetorical blows against the New York developer during Wednesday night’s Republican primary debate. After listening to a woman describe her experience working at the technology company Lucent, for which Mrs. Fiorina was a senior executive in the 1990s before becoming chief executive of Hewlett-Packard Co., Mr. Trump said he “thought I’d wait a couple of days before I exposed her business failure.” “Everyone’s saying she made a good speech yesterday,” Mr. Trump said of Mrs. Fiorina’s debate performance. “I don’t know, I don’t get it. At some point people are going to see [her business record], and it’s going to be a very big roadblock.” A spokeswoman for Mrs. Fiorina declined to respond to Mr. Trump. " Trump Doesn’t Refute Comment on Obama, Muslims " Why should he? After all, Trump did not make the comment. Its not his job to defend Ovomit. Ovomit is a big boy, he, or his followers can defend him. Besides, why is it that the people that are getting upset about this are the first ones to defend muslims, they attack people who say anything negative about muslims, they want to bring more muslims to the US, and the boo hoo hoo about the muslim refugees in Europe. Yet when someone says Ovomit is a muslim, then they act like a muslim is a bad thing. I still remember when Ovomit made the comment to George Stephenopolis about his "muslim faith" Now they want to claim Ovomit is a Christian. If Ovomit is a Christian, I am a Martian.
#6. To: Stoner (#4) "Now they want to claim Ovomit is a Christian." Of course. Because his mother was a Christian. Then again, his mother is white and they call Obama an African-American. Probably because his father was an African-American. Then again, his father was a Muslim. I got it. Obama is black like his father and Christian like his mother.
#9. To: misterwhite (#6) Mister white, you have been firmly outed. You are a leftist after all.
#10. To: Don (#9) "Mister white, you have been firmly outed. You are a leftist after all." Now, now. Perhaps you should follow the advice of your own psalm.
#11. To: misterwhite (#10) The aim is to tell the truth. Isn't that a Christian thing?
#37. To: Don (#11) "The aim is to tell the truth. Isn't that a Christian thing?" Yes. Telling the truth is a Christian thing. So why do you lie by claiming I'm a leftist?
#38. To: misterwhite (#37) Aren't you one, or do you in honesty try your best to support Conservatives by tearing down conservative thinking by your outrageous support of the indefensible and tyrannical? It has to be one or the other. Perhaps, your mind is so shot that you believe your posts. The latter option is being generous to you.
#39. To: Don (#38) by your outrageous support of the indefensible and tyrannical You're misguided. It's always been the Democrats that hate police, military, war, guns... and have always supported criminals, criminal rights, drugs, abolishing death penalties and hating those mean mean vile rich people. I might not agree with White on all things, but he's far from a liberal. You support more libtard party platform staples than he does... and so does your other agenda posting pals... and that's why most of you hate the Republicans more than you do the Dems, both being the failed two parties, because in the end, every one of you government hating agenda posters will vote for a (D) all day long if your libertarian hope can't muster more than 6% vote. Most of your "pals" are closet Commie Sanders supporters.
#42. To: GrandIsland (#39) (Edited) I havent voted Repubs for many years. I will never do so again unless the candidate is Trump. That doesn't mean I will vote for the Dems either. I can understand how you would vote for the things the RINOs support. The truth is there hasn't been a Conservative president and very few Conservative candidates since Reagan.
