Religion Title: Hillary Clinton showed up for church today. Will faith help or hurt her on the campaign? Speaking from a Methodist pulpit on Sunday morning, Hillary Clinton explained her political vision with a reference to the classic Sunday school song “This Little Light of Mine.” Well ... for you Bible thumpers ... there you have it. I don't believe a word of it. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest #1. To: buckeroo (#0) (Edited) She's been a committed psychopath for 50 years and now makes a makes a publicized attempt at presenting herself as having been a closet candidate for sainthood. There are half-wits who will believe this act and will accuse me of being judgemental for not believing her. Here they come, shouting "judge not lest ye be judged, Flatulences 11:3". I can hardly wait for the criticism because I refuse to be a sucker.

To: rlk (#1) The only kind of church I can picture her in would have an inverted cross, a pentagram on the floor with blood stains from ritual sacrifices, and all of the congregation would be holding pitchforks. To: buckeroo (#0) Talking about her religious commitments has presented a bit of a quandary for Clinton as she runs for president. I can see that as being a problem for her. There are not that many Satan worshipers that are registered voters. Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012) #7. To: sneakypete (#6) There are not that many Satan worshipers that are registered voters. Pete - You could be correct but there is another issue you have not identified: unregistered voters. The dead ones voting, the unregistered ones voting, the multiple voters that voting, the unverifiable ones voting. Pete - It is like the Walking Dead straight out of the series that is on TEEBEE! And even some of them are REGISTERED or biten by some cheap politician!

Remember LBJ getting more votes the first time he ran for Congress than there were voters in his district? The local sheriff made a public announcement on a local radio station that he had proof of voter fraud and would be appearing before a Grand Jury to give his evidence the next week, but he committed suicide the day before he was scheduled to testify. By shooting himself in the back. Twice. With a single shot 22 caliber bolt-action rifle. Nobody has ever verified it,but I'm petty sure the dead sheriff voted for LBJ the next time, too. You know, it seems to me that since he was a cop and all ... he might have thought of a bit different approach to his own death. But cops are sometymes weird because they can't see straight because of the sugar HIGH from the doughnuts. Or perhaps he was on a Kaffein HIGH? In any event, you might say, it was "the long arm of the law that got to him."
#10. To: buckeroo (#0) Hillary Clinton showed up for church today. And she did not get struck by lighting? The good lord must have fell off his chair from laughing so hard!
#11. To: buckeroo (#9) You know, it seems to me that since he was a cop and all ... he might have thought of a bit different approach to his own death. You rarely see that kind of dedication to suicide. I'm guessing he went through with me because he was so ashamed of having embarrassed a great man like LBJ. #16. To: hondo68 (#13) The Methodist revival began with a group of men, including John Wesley (1703–1791) and his younger brother Charles (1707–1788), as a movement within the Church of England in the 18th century.[7][8][9] The Wesley brothers founded the Holy Club while they were at Oxford, where John was a fellow and later a lecturer at Lincoln College.[10] The Holy Club met weekly and they systematically set about living a holy life. They were accustomed to receiving communion every week, fasting regularly, abstaining from most forms of amusement and luxury and frequently visited the sick and the poor, as well as prisoners. The fellowship were branded as "Methodist" by their fellow students because of the way they used "rule" and "method" to go about their religious affairs.[11] Wesley took the attempted mockery and turned it into a title of honour. Yeah right Hitlery you're really a Methodist... /s
#17. To: CZ82 (#16) The Mehodist church today would not be recognized by John Wesley. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.---Revelation 1:5b-6 #18. To: redleghunter (#17) The Methodist church today would not be recognized by John Wesley. I think there are a lot of churches you can't recognize these days, way too much politics involved...
