Sobriety can be achieved,but there is no cure for addiction. You just become an addict that is no longer drinking,doing drugs,smoking,overeating,etc,etc,etc.,and you will be that person for all of your life. You never beat it. All you can hope to do is keep it at bay. Nobody is an addict because they want to be an addict.

When I feel pain either mental or physical, most of the time I can will it away. My dentist says I'm a stoic although I will accept novocaine. Total anesthesia.... no way!

It was a while before I realized that my pain wasn't normal. I've had two bloody ulcer ER moments from taking daily OTC meds. But I've come (almost) full circle now. I know there's always gonna be side effects....;}

Everytime you go to the hospital you take a chance with picking up some real nasty bugs. Evidently C. Difficile has mutated into a real hard to kill bug. So many OTC are hard on the stomach. Anything with HCl in the formula needs to be taken with a buffering agent or food. Think Benadryl and some of the other extremely popular allergy meds.

I could be a neurologist and the LOL is that the most helpful Doc has been the gastroenterologist. If the stomach/bowels can take it, and I don't get a skin crawl cardiovascular 'stroke' reaction, I'm good to go....;}
