Historical Title: comments posted poll now at Yes 86%, here's some of he comments posted Looks like a prelude to another fine year; Remember the Ides of March! Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest I spent some time reading the comments of people at LP over the last couple of days and my how it has changed. As a person who spent many years posting on that site who now hardly has the time to read political forums much less post on them, the change appears stark. It's become a haven for authoritarian leftists and police state Republicans. A Free Republic clone. A far cry from the early days when it was a small government political forum. Sally has finally shown her true colors by allowing those people to take over. As an aside, I find it interesting how much LP's authoritarian leftists have in common with LP's police state Republicans. From the posts I've read they side with each other on just about everything. What gets me is how people who find themselves in agreement on a regular basis with a known Democrat/authoritarian leftist like harrowup can call themselves conservative. There is nothing conservative about their big government views.
#2. To: Fibr Dog, harrowup (#1) harrowup He isn't conservative. He is a statist. Well you are. I didn't know you when you came here.

From the posts I've read they side with each other on just about everything. What gets me is how people who find themselves in agreement on a regular basis with a known Democrat/authoritarian leftist like harrowup can call themselves conservative. There is nothing conservative about their big government views. Most there are not US firsters. "ROTFLMAO... Perfect! She longs... for someone to Teabag her. a man that squats on top of a women's face and lowers his genitals into her mouth during sex, known as "teabagging" She aches for it"... ~~~JWpegler. Head Tea Bagger and Tea Party supporter extraordinaire, explicitly expressing his fantasies in public about other posters. #4. To: A K A Stone (#2) He isn't conservative. He is a statist. No he's not a conservative. He's an admitted Democrat. I remember him from FR. He was pro-big government and pro-police state so RimJob allowed him to stick around while he was banning conservatives who refused to perform verbal fellatio on the (then) Republican controlled federal government. That is my point. The police state Republicans on LP claim to be conservative yet appear to agree with every position harrowup has, which begs the question how are they conservative? I used to consider myself a conservative but I no longer do. The republican party in conjunction with the neocon movement and the MSM have warped the meaning and turned it into something different from what it was prior to Bush.
#5. To: mininggold (#3) Most there are not US firsters. You are absolutely right. I failed to mention that. It has been that way for years though, even when Sally pretended to still be in favor of small government.
#6. To: A K A Stone, Fibr Dog (#2) He isn't conservative. Never claimed to be.
He is a statist. As a pejorative that might make some folks angry. Actually, I find it funny coming from a 'constitutionalist' and/or 'anarchocapitalist'. Fibr Dog has a juvenile view of my FR associations.
#7. To: Fibr Dog (#1) As a person who spent many years posting on that site who now hardly has the time to read political forums much less post on them, the change appears stark. Good to see you around again.
#8. To: Fibr Dog (#1) As an aside, I find it interesting how much LP's authoritarian leftists have in common with LP's police state Republicans. From the posts I've read they side with each other on just about everything. What gets me is how people who find themselves in agreement on a regular basis with a known Democrat/authoritarian leftist like harrowup can call themselves conservative. There is nothing conservative about their big government views. They pretend to be conservatives, and it's been that way for quite a long time now. They call themselves conservatives, yet they reject almost every core conservative principle you could list. And that makes perfect sense to them.
#9. To: We The People (#8) They pretend to be conservatives, and it's been that way for quite a long time now. I don't pretend anything.
They call themselves conservatives, yet they reject almost every core conservative principle you could list. And that makes perfect sense to them. As Republicans go they're conservative. As Americans they are core loyalists unlike your anarchist cohorts.
#10. To: harrowup (#9) I don't pretend anything. LOL! It is only your exaggerated sense of self importance that makes you think that I was speaking about you. I wasn't. As Republicans go they're conservative. As Americans they are core loyalists unlike your anarchist cohorts. You're an idiot. Now go argue with the other idiots and leave me to speak with the adults.
#11. To: We The People (#10) LOL! It is only your exaggerated sense of self importance that makes you think that I was speaking about you. Fibr Dog mentioned me incorrectly as a leader of the pack which is ridiculous. My role at LP is simply what it is. An attempt to put a little humor into a nasty mix of mostly crazy Paultards. My role here is simply to point out how despicable you and your lying thugs are. You're such a diva.
#12. To: harrowup (#11) (Edited) Fibr Dog mentioned me incorrectly as a leader of the pack which is ridiculous. I-don't-care. The fact that you think you have a 'role' to play, rather than simply exchanging ideas and conversation, speaks for itself. Now please, focus your 'role' in another direction.
#13. To: We The People (#12) Now please, focus your 'role' in another direction. No.
#14. To: we the people (#11) a nasty mix of mostly crazy Paultards. that's the straw dog, the statist use to pretend they're conservatives, they harp on ron paul but are the first to say he has a less then 0 chance getting the nominal. no matter what foul crap they do, it's always because of fighting the herds of paultard. what a bunch of assclowns
#15. To: calcon (#14) what a bunch of assclowns LMAO! Clear, concise and to the point. It could not have been stated any better.
#16. To: We The People, harrowup (#15) Remember "the Ides of March!" .... a lot is going on underneath the "hood" and it is all in good fun and humour. It is going to be a GREAT year on the Internet watching LP: the Lunacy Punks channel, as it were.
#17. To: calcon (#14) Just wanted you to know, I just remembered that you call RP 'bong paul' and laughed out loud again. That's got to be some of the funniest stuff on the internet!
#18. To: buckeroo (#16) Remember "the Ides of March!" .... a lot is going on underneath the "hood" and it is all in good fun and humour. The suspense is killing me! LOL!
#19. To: We The People, calcon (#17) Just wanted you to know, I just remembered that you call RP 'bong paul' and laughed out loud again. Accountants hate Ron Paul. They love all the financial and tax regulations that their lobbyists successfully lobby for. He's seen as a threat to their livelhood. #20. To: mininggold, calcon (#19) Accountants hate Ron Paul. Who is an accountant? Calcon? My accountant is a Ron Paul supporter since '88.
#21. To: harrowup (#11) a nasty mix of mostly crazy Paultards. My role here is simply to point out how despicable you and your lying thugs are. I find your generalization more than a little hypocritical. In fact, you're a lying bag of shit. You call the movement to limit the government, get rid of the police-state tactics and return to REAL money "despicable." Which means YOU want the police-state, fiat money and a nanny-state government. This logically infers that you are, in fact, a statist, exactly what you were originally described as, and you denied. Check-mate, ass-hole. DUMMY DwarF: ...I'm eating a meatball... "Whenver the dwarf sees something negative about a Democrat, he tries to change the topic of the thread to something else. Usually a personal attack, followed by mutterings about correct 'grammar' 'spelling' whatever. Anything he can think of to avoid a discussion about a Democrat screwing up or looking bad. It's a decade long pattern." --Badeye observation-- #22. To: Capitalist Eric (#21) Agreed. Nicely done.
#23. To: socalv8, Capitalist Eric (#22) CE could tone down his comments a bit more by thinking more positively and optimistic about the vision for America before strumming the keyboard with his rhetorical rants but, what the HEY!, whom I to criticize?
#24. To: buckeroo (#23) ...but, what the HEY!, whom I to criticize? I'm sure Eric would be more than happy to tell you. The [political] parties lie to us and the political speakers mislead us…Money rules. Mary Elizabeth Lease, 1890 #25. To: lucysmom (#24) Eric has been toning down the rhetoric, lucy. He used to bark like Mad Dog. He has come a long way from the good ol' days.
#26. To: buckeroo (#25) He used to bark like Mad Dog. Happy to know he's improving. #28. To: We The People, mininggold (#20) i'm a cpa, mining has some weird case of the ass against accountants.
#29. To: Capitalist Eric (#21) You call the movement to limit the government, get rid of the police-state tactics and return to REAL money "despicable." No, I observed that the Ron Paul supporters here and at LP are despicable thugs (and do the libertarian movement no favor). Given your foul mouth, I assume you are an 'anarcho-capitalist' with serious mental issues.
Check-mate, ass-hole. This isn't chess; at best it is checkers and you ain't never gonna get kinged.
#30. To: harrowup (#29) (Edited) Given your foul mouth, I assume you are an 'anarcho-capitalist' with serious mental issues. You assume a lot. Which is why you look like a complete asshole.
This isn't chess; at best it is checkers and you ain't never gonna get kinged. WOW... what rapier-like wit! What edge! Jesus H. Christ... With one reply, you're already performing the sin which cannot be forgiven: you're boring me... Oh, BTW, NOTHING you said detracts from the original point I made. As usual, CHECK-mate, asshole. #33. To: harrowup (#32) Got ya foamin'. You wish. With a single whack, I exposed you for the hypocritical little shit you are. DUMMY DwarF: ...I'm eating a meatball... To: harrowup (#32) "Au contraire, mon petite" You mean 'ma' petite if you were going for the Erica reference, mon 'petit' if you mean Eric. But worry not in any case, my French friends are correcting my written French all the time, thus I am merely exploiting a chance to do much the same to you. ;-) ![]() #36. To: lucysmom (#34) "He is a legend in his own mind." The clapping you can hear at his home is him applauding his genius after he finishes each post while his wife works with the chores unshared, and the cat's thoughts turned to notions of being of the size needed to make his tormentor his prey. ;-) ![]() #37. Economics is a social phenomenon and in no way a “science”, no matter how desperately its high priests would like to have it believed otherwise. When you moronic sheeple get together, you often trade barbs back and forth, in a vain attempt to bolster your meager egos, and hopefully diminish whomever you attack. Being so childish, you never learn that such actions only reinforce your failure. loonybitch, your parasite life is coming to an end, soon. And you'll have to live on the generosity of others, without government coercion. Are you stalking me or is that a lucky guess? Economics is a social phenomenon and in no way a “science”, no matter how desperately its high priests would like to have it believed otherwise. To: Capitalist Eric (#38) "rat-boy, your delusions of grandeur are spoiled by the reality of you being a janitor." You have a point with the past tense, a fantasy with the present. I am not even working in Portland anymore. Not that your motive to bait cares about factual information. ![]() #41.
