Franklin Graham: ‘Politicians Should Stop Saying Islam Is a Religion of Peace’

Pope Francis said on Sunday that it was wrong to identify Islam with violence and that social injustice and idolatry of money were among the prime causes of terrorism.

Who is right?

Franklin could kick his ass.

"...social injustice and idolatry of money were among the prime causes of terrorism..."

The Holy Father is correct.

However, Graham's comment is valid while being overly simplistic. It is important to stress that there are radical factions in Islam that are very troublesome and dangerous.

The two statements have nothing to do with each other.

Francis is a communist, lots of leftist sympathies in South America. Graham is right, Islam is not, and never has been a religion of peace, their entire history has been one of conquest, blood shed and persecution of whoever they consider inferior and that includes Christians, unless it is that Francis doesn't consider catholics Christians and the way he is behaving that is entirely likely

radical factions in Islam

get your head out of the sand, the only "Muslim" who might be peaceful are those who don't attend the mosque to become radicalised
