However, to answer your question, this one conservative "borrows" the original artist's tunage because he has no ability to create original music. But I am able to listen to various songs that spark an idea for reworked lyrics of a right-leaning nature. No harm done to the original songs, which stand on their own. As I am sure you know, the "Star-Spangled Banner" was written by Francis Scott Key using an old English drinking song. Not saying my lyrics challenge Key's rejiggering of the words, but it is evidence that recycling old tunes with new, improved lyrics can have a beneficial second life...MUD
