This Pennysaver crap is dumped in my mailbox, I have no say and I actually read this one, the ads are very revealling. You would think in tough times people would damn near giveaway stuff. These people want every dollar they can extract. Overpriced is not even a question, it's the answer.
Back in PA good stuff put out for pickup is usually snatched before the trash men or Goodwill, whatever arrive.
Here's some samples of ads placed without a clue:
17" computer monitor, not flat $50. Epson printer $50. I dumped better stuff at the landfill.
"Aquariums, 20 gal $20, $10 gal $10", that's the cost of new ones on sale if you know where to buy them. Actually 10 gallon tanks used to be $5, still people try to sell stuff they probably paid way too much for because they are Libtards. Way too many ads for aquariums. Damn shame, we have a great Discus hatchery in Gynnebrook Farms and a local guy who breeds the best Angelfish I've ever seen here in the Baltimore area. I'm out of the fish stuff, just like to visit local shops once in awhile. Dumping fish tanks is a sign of recession.
I went to a "Going out of business sale" down in Baltimore (shocking!) and they tried the same scam. Full retail for used crap. Same price, 20+ years ago.
Spice Rack, Duffel bag w/wheels, 2 twin blankets, $5/each; 2 sofa throws $3 each.
Sears Craftsman mower never used. $50. Two window AC units $50/each. Why are you selling this stuff, is it HOT?
Dell Laptop Computer - Super fast, excellent condition. Internal wireless card, DVD/CDRW. Premium SW bundle. Six month warranty. Original cost $2175, must sell $399.
Assorted other crap like 8 track tapes, who besides me even has a cassette player let alone an 8 track player?
Fan - 3 Speed Westinghouse, self adjusting, on rollers, barely used $75. How long ago was Westinghouse bought out and no longer exists? Double fan $20. What in hells name is a double fan? Does it blow both ways?
This is the tip of the iceberg. Looks to me like losers are trying to dump stuff for what they paid or more. It will get worse before it gets better. It's painfully obvious we have a lot of stupid people buying junk and then trying to sell it at full price.
Wait till they find out the difference between wholesale, retail, and the auction block. These dumbasses are going down.
