Nine Speakers, the agency that represents Helen Thomas, has dropped her as a client, Politico reported Sunday afternoon.
This comes in the wake of remarks made by Thomas that emerged last week in which she said that Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine."
Thomas, 89, made her shocking remark on May 27 during the Jewish Heritage Celebration at the White House.
When asked by Rabbi David Nesenoff of RabbiLive.com if she had “any comments on Israel,” the Hearst Newspapers columnist put her foot in her mouth by stating, “Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine.” Thomas added that Palestinians “are occupied and it’s their land” and that Israelis should “go home” to Poland, Germany, America “and everywhere else.”
The notice, obtained by Politico:
“It is with a heavy heart that Nine Speakers, Inc. announces its resignation as the agent for Helen Thomas, Dean of the White House Press Corps.
Ms. Thomas has had an esteemed career as a journalist, and she has been a trailblazer for women, helping others in her profession, and beyond.
However, in light of recent events, Nine Speakers is no longer able to represent Ms. Thomas, nor can we condone her comments on the Middle East.
Nine Speakers will continue to enthusiastically represent all of our other current and future clients.”

What up is that that is famous for their "barf alerts"... FR?
Mama Look-a-Boofer is stuck in a Lucianne time warp all the way up to her beehive...Barf Alerts may have happened at FR - I didn't post there all that much - but Lucianne, aka "Trixie", used to put that warning on some of her stories.
That said, I'm sure that something happened behind the scene here either with a good snick of 9/S's clients or something else that had to do with a loss of business. OF course, the MouthBreathers who would see a bus driver destroyed for suggesting to a child to keep an open mind are going to cheer this...
