Weird Stuff/Unexplained Title: Has anyone here recieved a letter the United States Postal Service, asking for 'volumteer reporters'? Has anyone here recieved a letter the United States Postal Service, asking for 'volumteer reporters'? I'm sure there is such a service, but this is the first time in my life I've ever received one. It's been my experience that the Postal Service never gave a damn whether my mail was timely, or if we even received any at all. The letter goes: Dear Ms. ******** "I am writing to ask your assistance in a confidential volunteer panal, which measures timelessness of mail delivered by the U.S. Postal Service. The U.S. Postal Service wants to make service to its customers as consistent, accurate, and timely as possible. This will allow us to better serve you as a customer, and the nation as a whole. Ensuring an unbiased study, IBM has been contacted to independently measure, our mail dilivery service. We currently are in need of additional volunteers in your area. By joining the National Team of Reporters, you will play an important role in providing valuable feedback to help enhance our services. Being a reporter is easy and takes only a few minutes a day. To: UPDATE, All (#0) How to Become a Secret Mail Reporter..Shhh By AnneZ, eHow Member "There is an independent, external study of the U.S. Postal Service done by volunteers that not too many people know about. The study relies on a National Team of Reporters, who can never say anything to their postal carriers about their work. Reporting is easy and is done daily to help measure first class mail delivery service. Participants receive and respond to test mail by internet or toll-free phone. Below is information on how to become a secret Mail Reporter. Shhh.... Tips & Warnings Your vacations shouldn't interfere with project since you can report when you will be out of town, so no mail will be sent..The study is paid for through stamp revenue, not tax dollars..You can be removed from the study at any time..If you can keep a secret then this may be for you. If not, you're done reading this article..This is a confidential study and your participation is not known by the USPS."
OOOOOOPS, guess I shot my chance by posting this here...but who cares? I've never liked any organization with the word "TEAM" in it since der furer came into power...TEAM OBAMA...besides, I never cared for snooping and spying on people I know personally, unless I honestly believed they were out to harm anyone, and even then I'd never do it for this government. #3.
