-- crystal bowersox - (american idol) - at age 13 Ohio has produced a soulful, very talented artist competing for the top spot on American Idol this next week. This video has gone viral and shows she is no fluke, she's the real thing. Here is a religious song she did on Idol which is incredible. Watch and if you are into such things, vote for her. Ohio is a very lucky state to have her. People get ready, Crystal Bowersox. Note: she cried at the end after noticing her dark glasses wearing Dad was crying watching her sing. It was the first time he had seen her in Hollywood on stage.

Wow she doesn't seem to have a rats nest in her hair on that video.
I never watched this show before and caught her proformace at a friends home. You know how some peoplke are, they visit with you and keep the TV on, something I haven't owned in a long while. I have been following her on the Internet, and don't like the show much at all. But this woman has class and soul. She is hard to stop thinking about once you have been 'Crystalized' as they say. She is going to be a very big star, and is very talented not only as a singer, but as a song writer as well.
I like her hair style, and so do many other folks. Just because you don't like something Stone, doesn't mean it's something meant only to be damned and blasted. Dreads were common centuries ago with all sorts of people, including us little old White folks. All they say is this woman is very independent and takes her own path. She's also a very devote Christian too, Stone. Holy Toledo -- one of her popular songs she's written displays that fact well.
I have nothing against Lee, but he doesn't have Crystal's stage prtesence nor confidence, skill as a song writer or depth or presense as a singer. She won the coin toss and will sing second on Tuesday, and I expect will blast Lee's sox off. He has a real problem with not singing on key, and I predit come the pressure day, he will show this if the stress is too much for him. I wish him and Casey much success as singers, but as the years test these three performers, Mama Sox will be the one that does the best and goes the distance. I would say as a heavy metal lover, you should listen to someone who has a lifetime prefering this sort of music Crystal, Lee and Casey have been doing. I have a good ear for it, and she is by far the best of the three on all counts.
I've seen her. I don't really care who wins. Yes she is talented.
And she will do the most for your home state. She cares about people and wants to give far more then she wants to get anything. She is a rare creature and a real treasure.
I predict the dreads will eventually be gotten rid of. Shit man, she's a woman; dig? How many woman do you know keep the same hair or clothes, dude? Don't get so obsessed over superficial things, seriously. Would you toss a large diamond simply because it was dirty to you, or would you perhaps wait for the day when it is cleaned, set and shines? A year ago this woman was playing for tips; a couple of years from now, she will seem like she's always been on the top. Bet you money on that. Any amount you feel like losing. Tell you one thing, I wish I was 25 again and had her boyfriend Tony's slot. He is one lucky SOB. I am very jealous. (But at 56, I've learned to get over things like pipe dreams I'll never realize.)
They both were fantastic, I would be stumped if I had to choose just one...both songs just happen to be favorites of mine too... thanks

This young girl is blessed with a great God-given talent; I like her natural easy style. Her voice will only improve as she matures over the next 5-10 years. I respect the fact that she is both surprised and humbled by the applause she receives for her song ‘Holy Toledo‘. Maybe the success, she is sure to find, won’t go to her head and ruin her. I don’t watch/follow Idol, but it will be interesting to see which genre of music this kid ends up singing professionally and which record label signs her first. Ferret Mike - It’s creepy that you consider this child to be a woman. At 13, she has barely hit puberty. It’s even creepier that you, at 56yo, are envious/jealous of her boyfriend.

Well good to see you. Though I must say that overall the response to this thread is scary. I mean, Murron was the most civil and made the most sense. Though yes, I know you just didn't look at that carefully enough which is cool. Though I would hope you would realize that considering she's less then half my age at 24 that is lecherous enough for my taste. And way too young to even seriously consider, even if she was dumb enough to want to date an ancient person like me. ;-)

I said that wrong, it's someone that's been around long enough to collect info on certain members, could be from 4um or LP....but they've changed their name. I don't mind anyone who changes their name, did it myself, but I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, pretending to be sly and shit, they should come right out and say who they were.

I wouldn't worry about posting details about Mike. He posted plenty of personal info on ElPee years ago, including his name and an article about him falling 40' out of a tree he was "sitting" in. Probably still on the website if you care to look. Only a few years old, I can dig up the reference if you can't.

Thanks, considering my reaction to ever seeing a 56ish year old man sexually attacking a tweenager or young teen would be to donate the business part of rounds of ammo to him on the spot. After getting him to move away from the innocent of course.
New you tube piece: Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox duet on 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' This is a fine sounding couple. It would be groovy to see them do more work together. I am pleased to see two fine artists emerge from the mid west on this not very particularly good TV show. They are both fine human beings and great singers. Though I - as you know - just love Mama Sox. She's not only a great singer songwriter, she's a compassionate and highly intelligent woman who seeks to give more then she gets. She's going to go far now she has been rescued from obscurity to become ensconced in American music culture.
I also am open about my real name and where I live. I just don't care if anyone knows this. I would tell mininggold I don't have him on bozo, that I just choose to ignore him, if I thought it wouldn't hurt his widdle narcissistic sensibilities...lmbo...aha No not Brian S, Brian S. Faker.

Just for clarification I'm on dial-up at home and don't do videos. At my other home I will view it tomorrow. I don't get into the American Idol drama, but I guess I can spare a few minutes if Ferret Mike thinks she is the greatest thing since sliced bread. We had musicians on my father's side of the family over the years. Not my dad and not me though.
I don't either unless someone points me to something in particular, but ferret wasn't the only person to call my attention to Lee, a female relative of mine is crazy about him and mentioned him on FB, I just hadn't taken the time to look till now.
