LOL...she was talking about those 9 people who were indicted in federal court on charges they accessed Obama's student loan records while employed for a Department of Education contractor in Iowa.
And I think that if something drastic doesn't happen soon, she may be right, this nation is just getting worse, not better.
I'm 52 in 19 days. I've heard that my entire life. The only time I have agreed with that statement was from 2002 until late 2006 when you morons who voted for Boy Blunder finally woke the fuck up. I just hope Obama CAN turn it around so much fucking damage was done.
It's real simple how it works...vote for the smarter one...it works 99% of the time.

First war, I am also in my 50's, and I've seen alot in my time, and it's getting worse, whether I am a part of it or not, it's there. I am among the lucky ones who live a quiet life away from most of what's going on around me, and I can choose to ignore it and pretend it isn't happening, or I can wake up to reality.
If you think Obama is the right choice for this nation, then you are among those who believe we should no longer be a Capitalist nation, but a socialist country led by dictators.
He has weakened this nation, weakened our military, weakened our leadership by bowing down to our enemies all over the world.
No one has done more to divide the races quite like him, you may not see much from where your sitting, but civil war, race baiters have become braver, Mexicans march and have declared war on this nation, a UCLA teacher is advocating war against whites and our country, a revolution is brewing....
I don't mean to rant, but there isn't enough room here to list everything that's gone wrong since he's been in office, you have access to the internet, you are one of the lucky ones, and yet you're still blind.
If you think Obama is the right choice for this nation, then you are among those who believe we should no longer be a Capitalist nation, but a socialist country led by dictators.
Spare me the histronics...thanks.
We've been trying to start up a new business based upon an idea that we developed three years ago and it wasn't until the stim was passed that we had a fiscal incentive to do so. So spare me the capitalism is dying bullshit.
I just had a life long friend split off from his employer and strike out on his own thanks to the same incentive.
And we can change 87% of our legislature every 2 years and our executive branch every four. We get the government that we want.
I blamed you assholes for enabling Boy Blunder to steal the election in 2000 and then doing so again in 2004. Look no further than you who pulled the handle for that wholly incomptetent boob and his resume of failure for why we are where we are now.

The honest truth is we as a nation are in fact, beyond any doubt, far worse off than we were 15 months ago when Owe-bama was sworn into office.
The numbers don't lie. From double digit unemployment, six figure per month foreclosures, tripling of the deficit (4 times over April of last year, btw) to our relationships with our allies.
The kool aid drinkers won't admit it. But the rest of us...on the Right, the Independents, the 'moderates' the 'libertarians'...the polling data from every legitimate source shows the nation is very very angry with this administration, this particular congress.
Personally, I think this insanity about Arizona's reaffirming of existing Federal Law, combined with the flag controversy, have pushed the majority over the top in their anger and disgust with our current leadership in DC.

That is NOT news.
It's nonsense - especially coming on the heels of an adminstration which committed not only the worst foreign policy blunder in this nation ever committed but was absolutely derelict in its management of domestic fiscal and regulatory affairs as well.

I agree with you about boy blunder, but that was then, if we could go back change history that would be great, but we can't, so we need to deal with today...and you think Obama is the answer?
Did I think that he was in 2008, do you mean? Not completely. My priority in the last election was to get someone in there who would get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan ASAP. I knew he was not the answer to that.
Domestically, the GOP model is a failed one. We needed to fix the problem that model created. Frankly, had Hillary gotten the nomination, I would have pulled the lever for her because her husband, who despite his personal flaws, is a task oriented pragmatist, would have been her closest advisor. As it was, I couldn't bring myself to vote for Obama and since McCain's first major decision as a candidate was to pick Palin he wasn't an option either.
Since then, I believe that Obama has done a good job repairing our alliance with the Europeans. I believe that he did a good job with the stim [most new businesses establish themselves as success or failure around 18-24 months from startup]. We are seeing our new business accelerate [although, it's bride oriented so June being nearby may have had something to do with it but its's mid-May and business is still growing.]
But how anyone can make an informed decision on the effectiveness of a presidency after less than a year as the Ditto-Bots did is somewhat antiphrastic to reality.

So why doesn't you boy end it?
The fact is He expanded it, and now regularly bombs Pakistan. Please explain why?
BTW, when he was in the Senate he did what to stop Bush & war?
Every site that has banned or suspended me and at which I was an active member has suffered that fate.

The two worst policy decisions were, in order 1) Korea and 2) Vietnam.
You're out of your mind. But thanks for once again confirming that you don't have me on filter.

If you think Obama is the right choice for this nation, then you are among those who believe we should no longer be a Capitalist nation, but a socialist country led by dictators.
Milton Friedman and Pinochet proved that Capitalism (a word coined by Marx) is not synonymous with freedom for human beings, but can happily coexist with a dictator. Capitalism is an economic system, not a political system.
Its kind of ironic that Hong Kong and Singapore top the Heritage Foundation's list as the two freest economies in the world. Singapore has had one party rule since its inception and Hong Kong belongs to China.
Australia, number three on the list, has had universal health care since 1984. Canada ranks number seven; the United States, eight; and Denmark, nine.
He has weakened this nation, weakened our military, weakened our leadership by bowing down to our enemies all over the world.
Bush handed over a weakened nation to Obama.
Dwight Eisenhower said "Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it." With few exceptions, the world was on our side after 9/11; Bush took that good will, that "wants to do it" and threw it in the toilet believing that the world would accept the leadership of a strong bully. A bully can compel compliance, but not loyalty, and good will. It is the leadership style of the dictator.
