Cult Watch Title: Tea Partiers: Obama’s a Muslim because he takes his shoes off President Obama's most vigorous opponents have gone to great lengths to paint him as a Muslim, despite all evidence to the contrary. At a recent event, a Tea Party organizer pushed those limits even further. "In the yellow cinder-block meeting room of the Munford, TN, municipal building, the Tipton County Tea Party convened on a recent evening to raise money for billboards, organize a tax day protest and encourage attendance at a state convention planned for Gatlinburg at the end of May," the Washington Post reported in a recent feature story. The 40-person-large gathering was treated by organizer Vince DiCello to jokes about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and encouraged to raise money to help swing the November elections against Democrats. DiCello then circulated a photograph that showed Obama with his shoes off, which WaPo reported that he deemed "evidence that the president prays with Muslims but not Christians." The crowd "murmured in disapproval" at the image, and one attendee yelled, "That's because he is a Muslim." Attacking them is simply horrific politics, as we keep seeing with the elections in Virginia, New Jersey and the land of Kennedyism. But hey, works for me, so please please continue. This sort of political miscalculation is what failed on term President's are made of... my anti groupie can't get through life without me. #2. To: Boofer (#1) (Edited) Over 50% of the Tea Party memberships is either registered Independents, or registered Democrats. There you go again... The poll confirms, however, that Tea Party supporters overwhelmingly skew Republican and conservative. 49 percent of all self-identified Tea Party supporters classified themselves as Republican; a total of 92 percent were either Republican or Independent, with a mere 8 percent identifying themselves as Democrats. Look at all those "dems" Boofer and, guaranteed, what isn;t "republican" was. And the Winston Poll which was done for conservatives found 57% pube...28% indie and 17% dem... #67. To: war (#2) Maybe only 8% are Democrats, but most of that group has been drinking the mushroom tea for years and are hopeless. However, 43% are independents, and it was these folks who now realize how foolish they were for electing the Kenyan poofter pitcher, and will be throwing out his fellow Democrats in Novemeber.
#6. To: dont eat that (#5) 8% are Democrats, no denying it. Tells you the other 92% can't think for themselves. Bottom line is over 50% of the Tea Party types are in fact made up of Democrats and registered Independents. Whats facinating is the Leftwingnuts keep trying to compare Reagan to Owe-bama. Reagan got creamed in his first year, nobody denies it. But by the end of year two his policy of lower taxes jump started the economy, and by the time reelection rolled around he was unbeatable by ANY Democrat. Hence the 49 state landslide. Reagan always said the only reason he didn't carry Minnesota was his staff cancelled a campaign stop there the last few days before the election. Contrast this to Owe-bama. He's done the EXACT OPPOSITE, raising taxes across the board on everybody, via a wide range of policies on the domestic front. Thats where the comparision, such as it was ends. Against the brutal brick wall of 'math'. There is no incentive for venture capitalists, hell everything is designed to STOP THEM from investing. And thats why anyone with two working brain cells understands we will limp through this year economically, and the hammer will drop again next year. The final bit of the faux stimulus package will have been spent, the temp workers for the census will be unemployed again. And the Bush Tax cut of 01 will be allowed to expire. The only way it doesn't is if the GOP takes back the House, and Owe-bama finally realizes nobody is going to vote for him unless he signs off on extending it, or better yet making it PERMANENT. my anti groupie can't get through life without me. #7. To: Brian S (#0) e crowd "murmured in disapproval" at the image, and one attendee yelled, "That's because he is a Muslim." Wanna confuse a tea partier? Tell them that one of the original terms for Muslim was translated as Ishmaelites.
#8. To: Badeye (#1) Owe-bama is an ATHEIST. He is certainly a Marxist who kept company with Marxists all his life. All Marxists are at least FUNCTIONAL ATHEISTS as Atheism is as fundamental a part of Marxism as is "Redistribution of the Wealth".
#9. To: Badeye (#6) Bottom line is over 50% of the Tea Party types are in fact made up of Democrats and registered Independents. Meanwhile the dimBOTS screech away in their delusional cloud of "hopey changey" gas:):) It will be the economy (stupid dolts) coupled with the general malaise infecting everything from booming government deficits to kumbaya foreign policy that'll drive the stench (to some extent) out come November. After the resultant "coronary cleanup" occurs, this site will doubtless flourish:) Death to everybody who does not get outta my way. And the latest Eisteinian revelation from LF's resident Barack poodleboy...AKA Admiral Dwarf who has "shot at living things"...."Yeah, and Oswald was a right winger, too.
