Cult Watch Title: Tea Party Myth Busted: Man Was Detained In Cleaver Spitting Incident Some tea party sympathizers claim U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Kansas City is lying because no one was arrested for spitting on him. Sorry, that's not the real story. In fact -- contrary to the myth being whirled around the blogosphere by the Party of Angry Americans -- a man was detained by the U.S. Capitol police after the March 20 incident in Washington, D.C.

In fact it appears that the Democrats were trying to incite something at the rally, and when nothing happened, they just lied about it.

Seems in 80 minutes from the time of the incident to the 'first report' passed. Given the need to write, interview the four congressman allegedly subjected to this, the editing, and reviewing of all the video and audio there are only two possible conclusions. 1. Ok,so what is his name and where is the proof he did this? ANYBODY can point to anybody else and say "He spit on me!" and have that person temporarily detained by the police. Without any evidence,the police let the person go without arresting them. Which seems to be what happened in this case.
