International News Title: "As Liberals Implode in Canada, Conservative Leader Decimates Them in Powerful Speech for the People" We've reported how President-elect Donald Trump has been pushing liberal Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau with his tariff threats. Trudeau then took an oblique swipe at Trump over the election, chastising Americans for not voting for a woman and saying ridiculously that this was somehow an attack on women's rights, as though you couldn't vote for the person you thought was the better candidate. But that's the liberals of Canada in a nutshell: They don't make a lot of sense. Now, the Liberal Party is imploding in Canada. They were already in trouble and likely to lose in the election coming next year. Trudeau's own party members are calling him out and jumping ship. His finance minister, Chrystia Freeland, just resigned on Monday, and other liberal members were calling on Trudeau to resign. He reportedly was considering it. Guy Benson, at our sister site Townhall, pointed out how the Conservative Party leader summed up the chaos right as the government was supposed to be presenting the budget. Bloc Quebecois leader Yves-Francois Blanchet said the departure of Freehand was the "end" of Trudeau's government, and he had to immediately call for an election as soon as possible. Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre was asked whether an election would interfere with the Christmas holiday. He said the Liberals' failure was already interrupting Canadians' holiday by the hell they're living under. The best Christmas present they would get would be a new common sense Conservative government, he said. The economic statement showed Canada’s deficit is now forecast to be $62 billion, more than 50-per-cent higher than the $40-billion projection contained in Freeland’s spring budget. The economy is slumping, causing growth predictions to tick down and government revenues to be revised down by $5.5-billion less than projected in April. Poilievre delivered a masterful 11-minute address on how badly the Liberals had destroyed the government. Any time you think we have it bad here, listen to what the Liberals have done there and how he just eviscerates them. They are a prime illustration of how bad we could be if we left the Democrats in power. But even there, the people are rejecting the Liberals and revolting. That's awesome...I would love to see a discernible shift away from dependence upon an ever-expanding Centralized Bureaucracy. You see it in Melei's Argentina, Italy, France and others...the Voters are finally getting access to the TRUTH about rampant government waste and corruption, and once awakened, WeThePeople become increasingly disgusted with the PowersThatBe.
