United States News Title: Hurricane Beryl strikes Bay City (TX) Beryl, 1st Hurricane of ‘24 Hits Bay City (TX) As predicted in the last issue of LDC, the tropical storm season is lasting longer and causing more damage. On June 2nd, tropical storm Alberto struck Brownsville, and on July 8 the Texas coast was hit with hurricane Beryl which hit closer to home and demolished my apartment (see photo). 11 people in the Houston area were killed by Beryl, plus 11 in the Caribbean. Millions of people were without electricity for days contributing 9 more deaths from heat stroke. Beryl, with 165 MPH winds on June 2, was the earliest a Category 5 hurricane formed in the Atlantic in history. As this is being written, rain from Beryl is plaguing Vermont and other eastern states. Directly tied to last plague # 4 of the Apocalypse (man is scorched by heat), hurricanes waxing worse is further proof that the Apocalypse is here now, versus appearing in the future like the futurists say. Barry Midyet From the Galveston Daily News: Beryl could make top three for most windstorm claim By MYRIAN OREA The Daily News (7/23/2024) The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association expects Hurricane Beryl to be the third-largest in its history — after hurricanes Ike and Harvey — in terms of the number of damage claims filed, with almost half the claims coming from Galveston County. Beryl could also rank close to larger hurricanes in terms of expense and how widespread damage was, Aaron Taylor, senior legislative and external affairs specialist for the association, said. [Editor: Hurricane Beryl took out my apartment in Matagorda County, so I can testify to the strength of Beryl. The winds that destroyed my home had to be at least Category 2, or maybe Cat. 3.] Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest Sorry to hear about your loss, Barry...were you at your place when the damage occurred?

Yes I was, and it was scary. Had just moved back to my home town the week before. Lived there 1 week. I thank God that I'm still alive and kicking. Will post my article about Helene and Milton (in October/ November edition) shortly. Also in this Fall issue, for the first time in history, I endorse a candidate for US President -- the 47th rider of the pale horse -- who will bring hell and death to our enemies. #3. To: interpreter (#2) Hurricane Beryl sorta got lost in the weeds since Helene and Milton came to dominate the headlines. In any event, recovery from these tragedies must be measured in years, not weeks or months...MUD "NOW...Devolve Power Outta the Federal Leviathan!!"
