International News Title: Former US congressman says family members killed in Gaza church blast The first Palestinian American to serve as a US Congress member said he was grieving after several of his relatives were killed at a Greek Orthodox church in Gaza that authorities report was hit by an Israeli airstrike. Justin Amash detailed his sorrow over losing family members amid the Israel-Hamas war in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “I was really worried about this. With great sadness, I have now confirmed that several of my relatives … were killed at Saint Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza, where they had been sheltering, when part of the complex was destroyed as the result of an Israeli airstrike,” Amash wrote in a post that pictured whom he identified as two lost family members, Viola and Yara. The ex-congressman’s post continued: “Give rest, O Lord, to their souls, and may their memories be eternal. The Palestinian Christian community has endured so much. Our family is hurting badly. May God watch over all Christians in Gaza – and all Israelis and Palestinians who are suffering, whatever their religion or creed.”
Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Amash has previously said his father was a Palestinian Christian who lived in Ramla until his family was forced out during the Arab-Israeli war in 1948. The 43-year-old Amash served as a US House representative for Michigan from 2011 to 2021... Poster Comment: If any other group than the Israelis had bombed a Christian Church and killed members of a US Congressman's family, the Neo-Cons would have declared it to be an act of war against America. Zionist Protestants claim that they do not follow an infallible Pope, but in fact they do - the modern political state of Israel. And their Pope does not even to do something like speak "ex Cathedra". For Zionists any action by any Jew who proclaims that Jesus Christ is burning in hell for eternity is automatically infallibly true and holy.
#3. To: Orthodoxa (#1) Zionist Protestants claim that they do not follow an infallible Pope, but in fact they do - the modern political state of Israel. Lie much?
#5. To: A K A Stone (#3) (Edited) Where's the lie? Zionist Protestants are so full of the belief that Israel is infallible that to even post over at FR that Israel bombed a Christian Church had this response: 1st they denied that it even happened. 2nd they tried to claim that a Hamas sugar rocket had taken down an entire building wing instead of the Israelis. 3rd they tried to claim that the Christian Church was full of terrorists or full of Hamas weapons. When all of that was misproven - when it was shown that the Jewish state had deliberately bombed a Christian Church, that the Church only had homeless refugees sleeping in the offices, and that there were no weapons there at all, and that in fact the Christ-hating Jews had murdered several teenage girls who are members of US Congressman Justin Amash's family - what did they do? They deleted the news article completely and shut off my posting ability, because Zionists cannot handle truth being spoken about the Synagogue of Satan.
#9. To: Orthodoxa (#5) when it was shown that the Jewish state Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
You are saying they are Jews. Then you are saying they are not Jews. That is what the Bible says. Those who "say they are jews, and are not". You seem confused. And Hamas does fire missiles from churches, schools, hospitals. Also you have presented no evidence of who was at the hospital or if missiles was fired from there. Hamas is with Satan, are you with Hama?
#12. To: A K A Stone (#9) The world calls the Synagogue of Satan Jews. The New Israel is the Christian Church. Jews who did not recognize Jesus as the Messiah have cast themselves out of Israel. What happened in history? Just as Christ prophesied, once the Jews had murdered Jesus it was only a few decades before their temple was razed to the ground by the Romans. It is because for them to try to offer animal sacrifices instead of the sacrifice which Our Lord made of Himself are now an abomination. The modern day "Jews" are indeed the very Synagogue of Satan which God described persecuting the Church. Even here in the USA, when I was young (a long time ago) we had "Christmas Break" and "Easter Week" off from public school. That was changed to be "Winter Break" and "Spring Break". Why? Well, I know EXACTLY why in my home school district in North Texas. A Christ-hating Jew, Florence Shapiro, got herself put in charge and immediately banned any mention or celebration of Christian holidays. She even banned using red and green decorations at "Winter Break" parties because she said those colors looked "too Christian" and were "offensive to Jews." Everywhere they go, the Christ-hating Jews try to stamp out Christianity . And no, I'm not with Hamas, I am an Orthodox Christian and support the original historical Church in Jerusalem that had St. James as its' first Bishop before the Jews threw him off of a tall building to kill him.
#16. To: Orthodoxa (#12) The modern day "Jews" are indeed the very Synagogue of Satan which God described persecuting the Church. Why are you putting Jews in quotes. Is Netanyahu not a real Jew? You still haven't answered about Mary above. You should read Ezekiel chapter 37 I believe it is. I haven't seen you here for quite some time and I always liked you and your posts. Just for the record.
#23. To: A K A Stone (#16) As far as the off topic Mary question, while some Orthodox have the pious belief that Mary was capable of sin but never chose to do so (as opposed to the Immaculate Conception dogma of Rome which states that Mary was incapable of sin) it is not a dogma of the Orthodox Church, which means members are not required at all to believe that.
#26. To: Orthodoxa (#23) There is no such place as Palestine. There is an Israel though. It is going to get bigger.
#28. To: A K A Stone (#26) The true Israel indeed is getting bigger and bigger as people leave the false man-made Protestant Churches created long after the time of the New Testament and far from the Holy Land and return to the original Church founded by Jesus Christ through His Apostles. And that is why the Synagogue of Satan rages in fury. The Christ-hating Jews who reject Jesus Christ will be cast into hell. They can scream at God all they want. shouting "We are sinless and infallible because we reject Jesus Christ!!" and it will not save them.
