Cult Watch Title: Netanyahu Salutes Pastor Hagee Who Warned Glenn Beck of Israel's Destruction within 20 Years Pastor Hagee: (speaking of Vladimir Putin) I believe that he`s the man that`s going to cause Russia to unite the Islamic nations against Israel.
Glen Beck: End of the world as we know it in five years, 10 years, 20 years? HAGEE: I don`t think we`ll get past 20 years.
This week Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday addressed Pastor Hagee, a man who thinks the world will end in 20 years, and Christians United for Israel (CUFI) at a summit meeting in Jerusalem and encouraged Christian Zionists around the world to stay the course in their defense of the Jewish state.
Speaking to Pastor Hagee, Netanyahu said "Your presence here today represents a profound transformation in the relationship between Christians and Jews," said the prime minister. "This transformation has its roots in the 19th century when the early Christian Zionists came to the Land Israel and when they began exploring the land of the Bible, when they began to yearn for the Jewish restoration in this land, the restoration of our numbers, the restoration of our sovereignty." Said Netanyahu. "I salute you, the people of Israel salute you, the Jewish people salute you." The summit was attended by 1,000 Christian delegates and led by Hagee, who took the opportunity to reaffirm his support and the support of tens of millions of American Christians for Israel. The mystery to many is how does Pastor Hagee attract such luminaries to his side at his meetings, including Joe Lieberman and Gary Bauer, and now Benjamin Netanyahu given his stupendously silly apocalyptic world view.
For those not yet familiar with Pastor Hagee's colorful world view we direct you to Mr. Glen Beck, the Oprah Winfrey of end-time savants, to get Hagee's views on the record. In a jaw dropping interview a while back on Mr. Beck's television program, Pastor Hagee, in a few short sentences called Vlaidmir Putin the "Anti-Christ" and that the world would end in (20) twenty years. After Russia joins Iran in a nuclear annihilation of Israel.
BECK: Pastor Hagee, here we go. Yes or no. You ready? Lightning round.
BECK: Is the anti-Christ alive today?
HAGEE: I believe he is BECK: Vladimir Putin, is he part of the biblical prophecy? HAGEE: I believe that he`s the man that`s going to cause Russia to unite the Islamic nations against Israel. BECK: End of the world as we know it in five years, 10 years, 20 years?
HAGEE: I don`t think we`ll get past 20 years. for complete transcript of what Hagee had to say on to Glenn Beck click http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0710/12/gb.01.html Pastor Hagee, and his new political action committee, Christians United for Israel (CUFI) launched in 2006, represents perhaps the most peculiar cast of characters ever assembled in Washington D.C. Many Washington insiders have great difficulty getting their arms around the whole CUFI phenomenon. CUFI is a tremendous supporter of Israel, yet its founder, John Hagee, megaTV evangelist, has his flock pray, if not directly for Israel's destruction, then certainly for some sort of end of times catastrophe involving Jerusalem. Pastor Hagee is on the record saying he hopes to deliver his followers to heaven in a biblical moment of Rapture. What is so confounding to many in Washington D.C. are Pastor Hagee's pronouncements and prophesies, which are clearly at Israel's expense, are cheered on, unbelievably, by prominent leaders like ex-VP candidate and US Senator Joe Lieberman and TV commentator William Kristol. Senator Lieberman went so far as to call Mr. Hagee some kind of modern day "Moses" and now Benjamin Netanyahu.
Benjamin Netanyahu now has the dubious distinction of being the only Israeli leader to ever salute a man who makes money from biblical prophesies suggesting Israel's imminent destruction while simultaneously humiliating the leaders (Joe Biden and Barack Obama) of the very country he relies on for its protection. ministryValues.com Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest It's called follow the money and playing both sides, something Bebe is adept at. lolol Netanyahu has just as big a chance of being the antichrist.
