Former President Donald Trump has signaled he will announce his presidential intentions after the November midterm elections. Yet his record of endorsements is quite mixed. By the sheer numbers of winning primary candidates his stamp of approval is impressive, but in a few of the most important races, not so much. The disaster that is the Biden Administration has been a godsend for Trump. Had President Joe Biden simply plagiarized the successful Trump agenda, there would have followed no border disaster, no energy crisis, no hyperinflation, and no disastrous flight from Afghanistan........

Have you read the constitution on the subject? A President and vice president can't reside in the same state.
What if Trump declared his official residence is NY ? He still has plenty of property there. Granted many tax problems there. Yep he could do that. But do you think DeSantis really wants to be in what is mostly a dead end job? Who knows what will happen. I like Trump and DeSantis.

Interesting...no, I had not figured the Florida-centric nature of the Trump/DeSantis ticket into that. I know I want Trump at the top of the ticket in 2024 and am leaning towards DeSantis as the GOP nominee for POTUS in 2028. The Vice Presidency is just a mostly ceremonial position, unless the POTUS is removed or is incapacitated. There are other cabinet positions where DeSantis could have a greater effect...he doesn't have to be Veep. Actually, Trump could claim residence in a number of States wherein he has investments. For tax purposes, I would think he would lean towards areas with low- or no State income tax...wonder if Texas would welcome him with open arms? Does DeSantis have ties anywhere but Florida?

I get your point. I was just thinking that he already has a residence there. But with his money, he could buy a new residence anywhere, and would think Texas would be a real good choice. It should really not be a problem, he should have a number of good options !

No. DeSantis is valuable where he lives. I've given thought on who his VP should be. Ben Carson. He is loyal, trust worthy, moral, loves this nation and would have Trump's back.

I agree that if there's a will, there's a way...I just want DeSantis to be front and center in the next Trump Administration, and Veep ain't necessarily a plum position. What ever happened to Mike Pence, btw?

Why? It's just a study help, much like a commentary. They did an exemplary job with that verse...that's why I chose it and gave credit to it. Just by reading the KJV did you understand that the word "Naughty" means "a man of Belial" crossed referenced to Deut.13:13... When you say... I would add that if you read the KJV only, without a Hebrew/Greek dictionary/concordance, and some good commentaries, that you will probably misunderstand the Bible. That's because the KJV is itself a mere translation. But the key word in the verse for our instruction today is ""teacheth". What is Trump teaching us by his constant use of that hand sign?
