For just over a month, America’s first Spanish-language conservative radio station has been trying to win over the country’s most-talked about political demographic: increasingly right-leaning Hispanics. It couldn’t have launched at a better time. When asked about the inspiration behind Americano last month, two weeks after its first broadcast, CEO Ivan Garcia-Hidalgo cited the 2016 election, in which Trump made massive, surprising gains with Hispanics. Recent polling suggests that the rightward drift of the demographic, on which Trump capitalised, has continued since then. There is a growing audience of conservative Hispanics, Garcia-Hidalgo points out — and what they, and America, needed was a “Fox News in Spanish”........

The funny thing is that a lot of people think of "Hispanics" as some sort of separate racial minority. Actually, Hispanics are white. Yeah, they're mixed with some Indians down in Latin America, but they are the majority everywhere they came from, and always have been. They have no legacy of slavery, or Jim Crow, and don't think of themselves as being anything other than people. They know they look different HERE, and that there is SOME racism against them by SOME white people because of their melanin, but there is no sense of inferiority within them they are trying to erase. They're not blacks. They're whites with a tan. They speak Spanish, but again, so what? They are akin to the Italians at the end of the 19th and early 20th Century. Numerous, strong minded, swarthy, but white. The Democrats have tried like hell to turn them into the new Blacks, another group of sad-sack broken people on the reservation of Democratic politics. But they're not anything like the blacks. For starters, they're white, and they know it. They're poorer than the majority whites. So were the Italians. How did the Italians make up for it? By working like hell. Exhibit A: the Hispanic workers in America, who work like hell - 2, 3, 4 jobs. When they're illegal, they can't get the benefits blacks get and sit on their asses: they'll starve. They HAVE TO work, and they work. So they get ahead. And that's the problem the Democrats have: Hispanics work, SO THEREFORE they get ahead, and they attach getting ahead to work, just like Italians, and Germans and Dutch and every other white group of old. Just like the Japanese and Chinese immigrants too. The Left WANTS the Hispanics to be black, wants it SO BADLY. But consider even AOC. Brash, kind of cute, but does she even sound like the whining black sistahs? Not even remotely. She looks, and sounds, like an entitled leftist white girl because - newsflash! - she IS. Hispanics are white, not black. And they don't want to be black, and aren't going to be black. No matter how much the Democrats want them to be. Whites divide between the Democrat and Republic party, and independence of both, for their own idiosyncratic reasons. Same with Hispanics. More are poor, so they have skewed Democrat, just like whites. No big surprise. Republicans don't have to pander to Hispanics any more than they have to pander to Italians. Hispanics do not have eggshell thin sensitivities like blacks do. They don't have a sense of victimhood, or resent Jim Crow. They don't think of themselves as victims. They resent dumb people who treat them different. They're Italians. Remember that. Hispanics are Italians, not Blacks. Ted Cruz, anyone? Or Mario Rubio? Ron DeSantis? Rudy Giuliani? They ain't black. And they're not going to vote black and settle down on the plantation. No amount of Democratic wishing and fuckery is going to turn them black. Democrats talk to them like they're blacks, and the Hispanics resent that just like the Italians did.
Are you saying poor people are dumb and don't want opportunity? What is this voting black? Black people come with different views like everyone else.
African-Americans have dependably supported the DemocRATic Party for more than half a century, with 85-90+% of the Black electorate pulling the lever for RATZ. And demRATZ have encouraged this sub-section of the electorate to remain dependent on government handouts becuz White folks are--allegedly--set on keeping them down. DeeCeeRATZ are leaving our Southern border wide open so they can herd in as many Brown folks ASAP in the hope these ILLEGALZ will become another reliable 85-90% pro-RATZ at the polls. However, there is increasing evidence that the lion's share of these Brown folks are rejecting the Black strategy of becoming more and more dependent upon the DeeCeeSwamp and the charity of others. Most of these Illegal Invaders arriving via our Southern border are escaping the same unworkable socialist policies DemRATZ are peddling, and these Brown folks seem far more likely to want to take advantage of the almost unlimited employment opportunities presently available. Yep. Hispanics ain't black. That's the bottom line. They were never slaves. They were never under Jim Crow. They're the majority where they came from, and where they came from are democracies just like here. They're not stupid, and they know how the game is played. They're poor, when they come, and need help then, but they work like madmen and don't STAY poor. And as they rise, they become more conservative. Politically, they ain't black. Politically, they're white, just like the Italians.
Not sure that's applicable across the board, but I get your point. The Left has enSlaved large portions of the African-American population with inter-generational welfare dependency. A lotta Race Pimps like JessieJay and Foghorn Al Sharpton are just fine with that, as long as they get to be painted as racial spokespersons and financially- compensated accordingly. Not that the GOP has done a very good job selling their version of how to end this willingness to waste entire lives whining and complaining how some other group of people who don't even know you exist are somehow holding you down and making it impossible for you to achieve anything other that the basic subsistence government freebies provide. Interesting that these latest waves of immigrants, at least the Hispanics, are--like the Italians and Irish before them--largely Catholic, and from what I can gather, most are serious, practicing Catholics, not the Lib'ral, KillAllTheInfants-style Catholics who still swear by the DemocRATic Party...MUD "NOW...Devolve Power Outta the Federal Leviathan!!"
I pledge allegience to the flag for which it stands. To the democracy... We're a Republic if we weren't the supreme court couldn't reverse legislation that was voted by a majority. They mostly come from a corrupt culture. That is why they flee. You talk and say they aren't black like blacks are some different race. I don't know if you believe we all came from Adam and Eve since you don't believe the Bible to be the word of God and believe it to be full of errors.
