Democrats are doing everything possible to signal to the American people they aren't prepared to retain control of the House, the Senate and the White House. Almost every Republican I interact with is shocked how tone- deaf the Democrats have been in the face of disastrous polling. The 2022 midterms will be a choice election. Democrats continue to make the choice easier.

The lack of introspection among party leaders almost makes me think they don't want power. Here are 10 signs Democrats will lose this November: .............

Ah yes, Jason Chaffetz. Like Roosterhead Trey Goudy, another big-talking "former prosecutor" GOPussy who kept campaigning on "we're gonna investigate, get to the bottom of it, arrest 'em and put 'em in prison!" then year after year produced nothing but press releases, hot gas and a juicy Fox contract.

Now out of office and powerless to do anything, the gasbagging continues unabated, but much more lucrative.

Useless GOPussy.

Hey, very-belated thanks!

I just drift in and out; so much to divert the mind and time these days. Been watching and reading Peter Zeihan's geopolitical analysis and forecasts last couple of months and it takes time to absorb, but try as I might, I've been unable to pick it apart as long as his (publicly-available) data is correct. Bottom line: USA-Mexico economic alliance will serve us just well as Russia and China collapse by 2030 at the latest due to demographic deterioration and global isolation.

Good.

Yeah, no shit. So how do we dump McConnell and the rest of those useless turds after they return to power in January and proceed to do nothing useful?

P.S. Can't do a dog again just now, but I rescued a great cat 6 weeks ago - does that get partial credit?

Hey Hank, good to see you again. How have you been? Well I hope.

Yes, you get full credit for the cat. They deserve to be rescued as well.

We have 4. One I rescued at work. 2 were strays that just came in & decided to move in. One, my daughter found as a stray, very young kitten.

They all get along good with our dogs. I call the cats " The Sharks " because when we go out to feed them, they are circling around us like sharks. Each cat has their own personality, and are a lot of entertainment. And they are good for Varmint Control.

I am sure you will enjoy it.

For a lot of fun, get yourself a small, cheap red laser. Wal Mart has them, cheap, maybe 3 bucks. Ours go crazy trying to catch it.

Check your local garden supply place. Get some cat nip. My daughter planted some in the yard, It is a perennial, and will come back each year. Cats love that stuff

As to McTurtle, I have no idea how to get him out. His last primary had a good man running against him. I strongly encouraged everyone around here to vote the other guy. But the establishment is strong in Ky. But it is obvious to anyone with 2 brain cells that we need to get rid of him.

Really good to see you again.

I look forward to more discussions with you again !!

Take care !!!

As for Russia, I am hoping for an insider assassination of Putin, followed by some sort of repudiation of his Dictatorial bent with a Yeltsin-like liberalization of the culture of Russia. As for China, our best bet is a peaceful revolution by the people, rejecting the All-powerful State so beloved by Tyrannical Marxist Dictatorships (and the modern DemocRATic Party).

McConnell ain't my cup of tea, either, but I will always give him credit for getting all 3 of Trump's SCOTUS nominees through the Senate and onto the Court. Not a whole lotta folks have the institutional knowledge and persuasive power to make that a reality...MUD

"U.S./Mexico economic alliance..."

You really think we would freeze out Canada from that alliance? You know we will complete that pipeline as soon as Trump (or possibly Trump's Heir) get back in the White House...Canada has a whole lotta natural resources that will benefit this proposed economic alliance....MUD

Hey Stoner, nice to hear from you again too; thanks for the greets. Just so much to distract me that I don't check in like I used to. Very appreciative of Tankumo's numerous posts.

Been spending a ton of time not only following Ukraine but learning as much as I can about war strategies and armaments. So many authoritative YT vids and websites, it's like drinking from a firehose.

Also reading up on Peter Zeihan's geopolitical analyses (tons of YT vids) going back to 2014, when he predicted that Russia would "have to" invade Ukraine by the end of 2022. And whaddaya know? Not just predicted it, but explained in detail why and it looks like his reasons were correct as well, eight years ahead of time. I'm almost finished with Book 2 of 4 so far, reading them in order. Have learned more about topography's influence on civilization and history in the last month than the last decades.

Also putzing around with life in general and the new kitty. BTW, I think this is Cat #9 or 10, so quite versed in the ways of the feline. Had some great dogs along the way as well. This is the first animal I actually went to the shelter (online at first) to find; all the rest, close to a dozen or so, just showed up one way or the other. She's a total sweetheart but very quiet; she meows all the time, but there's almost never any actual sound, and purrs can be felt but never heard.

Cheers, buddy!
-Hank

You're right, Mud, but perhaps oil/gas is the only significant thing we *might* need from Canada, perhaps not even that, although we may work with Alberta to provide routes for their exported energy to get to the world. Once the 'Rats are out on their baracks, we can quickly return to energy independence, with no need (but an option) to work with Canaduh on moving energy.

Canaduh won't be frozen out; what I meant is that Mexico, Colombia and perhaps one or two other south-of-the-border nations will replace China as a home for factories and labor to produce goods affordably. Mexico already has significantly-lower labor costs than Communist China, with none of the political, commie, or transportation issues - remember that Trump already put the trade agreements in place.

Canaduh has a too-small and too-scattered population, and a largely-frozen land surface without significant intercontinental transportation infrastructure, which makes it noncompetitive for manufacturing, without even counting their socialist leanings, high taxes and overpriced workforce.

As mentioned above, I've learned a lot from Peter Zeihan's documented research.

I definitely trust Central America as our source of cheap-labor for high-tech factories far more than China, Taiwan, and those other countries threatened by the Chinese Communists' Lust for Power. It would be nice if a few of these computer chip manufacturers could be economically-feasible using American employees, though...why do Dem EnviroWhackoz insist on outsourcing all their green technology?! Almost makes me believe ALL DemRATZ are anti-American Marxist MORONZ serving at the behest of their Masters in Beijing.

BTW...regarding that "largely-frozen, land surface", are conditions changing appreciably vis a vis this alleged Global Warming? While I honestly believe Man-Made Global Warming us a full-blown Marxist hoax to transfer wealth from the U.S.A. and Europe while enforcing China, India, and every other country that ignores the Marxist MORONZ aka EnviroWhacko nutjobs, I am totally cognizant of the reality that the planet is in a constant state of "Climate Change.". And if it IS real, there will be Winners as well as Losers...MUD
