When permitted a secret ballot, over 70% of the GOP reps in congress revealed themselves to be RINOs, Neocons, Liberals, or Democrats (whichever term one prefers) and voted to keep Liz Cheney in a GOP leadership opinion. After she voted to impeach the sitting President and leader of the party, perhaps Liz Cheney should have been expelled from the party, rather than retained in leadership. When 70% of the GOP players bat for the other team, there is a problem. That secret vote demonstrated brilliantly why the GOP could not achieve conservative goals, even when it held the White House and both houses of Congress. The GOPe is not a circular firing squad.
