Kyle Rittenhouse made his first public remarks via phone during a call with attorney John Piece on Tuesday, in which he thanked supporters for having his back during the ongoing legal saga. Speaking directly from county jail, Rittenhouse said, “I just want to thank every single one of you from the bottom of my heart” for the support he has received from American citizens who are outraged at the decision of two female prosecutors to charge him with first degree homicide, despite exculpatory video evidence. “It’s just amazing, I just want to thank all of you for all the mail I’ve been receiving, it’s been really helpful. I just wanna let you all know that I’m going to be out of here soon, stay strong and I hope to see you guys soon,” Rittenhouse concluded.
