… we have never been where we are today as a nation. While division abounds in almost every segment of America, it is time to cry out to God in prayer for America. No longer can the people of God be silent before the Lord. We need to call out to God passionately and urgently until the glory of God is experienced in every corner of our nation.

Share these prayer needs with every spiritual leader, church, and Christ follower in America and across the world. Let’s come together and pray in agreement for these three urgent requests and prayer priorities in America.

1. Pray for the leaders of America to come together to provide strategic leadership that will lead to righteous and peaceful living in America.

“First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2

-Father, we appeal to You for our President and Vice President, members of the Cabinet, along with the members of both the House and the Senate, to make decisions that will lead toward a more righteous, peaceful, and orderly America.

We Pray for Our Leaders:

-Lord, we also ask that these leaders lead us to ways that represent You and Your ways; including decisions that will lead toward the dignity and sanctity of all human life from conception until death.

-Lord God, may these leaders provide ways for our nation to be secure from terrorism inside and outside of the borders of America.

-Sovereign Eternal God, miraculously give unity of thought and strategy for the good of our nation between the White House, the United States House of Representatives, and the United States Senate.

2. Pray for unity in the church of America.

“Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, and that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united with the same understanding and the same conviction.” 1 Corinthians 1:10

-Confess and repent of the sin of division in the Church of America, supported by the sins of skepticism, criticism, and cynicism; due to an arrogance toward brothers and sisters who may look different than us, and may believe something a little different than us about secondary matters of the faith.

We Pray for Unity

-God is calling His Church in America to unify upon the authority of the Bible and the centrality of Jesus Christ, the only Savior of the world. Ask God to move us back to these basic beliefs.

-Ask God for thousands of local churches to unify as one body of Christ, agreeing together that God is our greatest need in America.

-Call upon God for Jesus’ Church in America to walk in unity, harmony, and oneness, so His Church personifies, calls, and leads America to unity.

3. Pray for every town, city, and county in America to have at least one prayer observance on the national day of prayer, resulting in a mighty move of God.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

-Ask God to call His people to prayer in every town, city, and county in America on May 3.

Pray for the National Day of Prayer
-Plead with God for His people in every town, city, and county to come together in humility to pray for America on the National Day of Prayer.

-Appeal to God for the people of God in every town, city, and county to come together to seek the will of God above all turning from all sinful and evil ways.

-Ask God to answer these prayers, speak to our nation, forgive our sins, and to bring healing to our lives, relationships, families, churches, businesses, schools, states, and all of America.

How to Pray for the National Day of Prayer

-Ask God to empower the NDP staff and thousands of NDP volunteers with the power of the Holy Spirit as they lead thousands of prayer observances on the National Day of Prayer.

-Appeal to God to supply the needed financial resources for the organization of the National Day of Prayer Task Force so this 2018 opportunity will be maximized.

-Call upon the Lord to anoint powerfully and lead clearly Dr. Ronnie Floyd, the President of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, as he oversees the strategic leadership of this massive prayer movement on May 3, and the National Observance of the National Day of Prayer in Statuary Hall in the United States Capitol in Washington, DC, at 7:30 p.m. EDT.

Praying for America

Please share these three major requests for our nation with people from all across America and the world. We need massive prayer support. We must see the next Great Spiritual Awakening in our nation.

Now is the Time to Lead and to Pray for America.

Poster Comment –

Amen …

Dr. Ronnie W. Floyd

A full blown ecumenicist...

From Pulpit&Pen:

Throughout his tenure, Floyd endorsed many different cult leaders and false teachers, which goes contrary to the commands in Ephesians 5:11 and 2 John 1:10 that we are to be separate from those who preach false doctrines. He partnered with Mike Bickle at the International House of Prayer and appeared at the Synergize 2016 conference with New age Guru,Leonard Sweet and NAR Apostle, Samuel Rodriguez. He has even partnered with one of the front-runner heretics of the Word of Faith movement, Kenneth Copeland (Source). Most recently, he is scheduled to appear at Together 2016 conference with Hillsong’s Word of Faith pastrix, Christine Caine, Gateway’s Kari Jobe, Roman Catholic, Matt Maher, New Age circle-maker, Mark Batterson, Ann Voskamp, (who flew to Paris to learn how to make love to God), and every Gospel compromiser’s favorite, Pope Francis.

He has taught the dangerous “Sow a Seed” type prosperity gospel.

Ronnie Floyd does not treat the Bible as if it is sufficient... he often claims extra-biblical revelations.

Joining with NWO Pope Francis, Floyd is helping lead the world to a one world religion.

Interesting find. It appears that Gatlin has gone from promoting tyranny to promoting cult teachings and a false gospel.

Joining with NWO Pope Francis, Floyd is helping lead the world to a one world religion.

I think this corona P(l)andemic and the fast-track 5G rollout are part of that plan.

Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen.
The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning.
Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom.

Awh, Doubting Thomas, if one is to accept your post at “face value” – It appears that Floyd may be kinda like a “religious version” of Matt Agorist. One could easily get that idea implanted – Eh? If I were to deeply study Floyd’s motives – which I will not bother to do – I may possibly see where Dr. Ronnie W. Floyd’s “crusade” could be equally terrible and counterproductive to society as that in the posted articles by Matt Agorist. The Matt Agorist articles where people that are looking for “news they can use” will only find “news that uses them.” This is to say “Fake News” in the style of “Yellow Journalism” that is constantly provoking division and distrust.

Now that we both may feel that we have so efficaciously done that [Shot the Messenger] and moved to at lleast literarily put them out of their misery – Will you now please tell everyone who may be interested what you found wrong with the messages in the “3 Prayers.” I am surely interested since I feel the prayers here are more important on this Sunday morning than is “shooting the messenger” – and the message therefore should not be ignored …

This posting by you begs in the most severe way for explanations and answers to questions …

To this end, I begin by stating that all I found at your link was an “opinion” by someone who calls himself “Brandon Hines” [which could be a pen-name like Matt Agorist is also a pen-name] who supported his “opinion” by the “opinions” of others.

Charming – deceptively charming – but only to unquestioning minds that are in a submissive state …

Since I am blessed not to have one of those “unquestioning minds lulled into submissiveness” it is therefore I have found through these many years as my brain continues to develop [see my post in on an earlier thread] that “opinions are like assholes – Everybody has one.”

It is to this end of dealing with an opinion by someone that calls himself “Brandon Hines” that I courtesyly ask you to please explain to me [and all others who have read your post, namely: Deckard] why anyone should believe an “opinion” expressed about Dr. Ronnie W. Floyd by someone who calls himself “Brandon Hines.” Especially since I can find no supporting documented facts to his “opinion” and I only find that he uses the opinions of others to support his opinion.

Moreover, it is most important that we all learn why it is that you believe the “opinion” expressed by someone who calls himself “B randonHines” while you apparently paid little or no attention to the prayers …

Interesting …

What is most “interesting” is that you chose to believe an “opinion” by someone who calls himself “Brandon Hines” without ever learning who the person that calls himself “Brandon Hines” really is – and that you accepted his “opinion” as the “Gospel for use against Gatlin ” without ever doing any fact-checking whatsoever.

“Interesting” as you say – Yes.

But not at all “surprising” …

From the About-Pulpit&Pen section on their website...http://pulpitandpen.org/statement-of-faith/

All contributors hold other similar convictions, including a belief in the Scripture’s inerrancy, young-Earth creationism, Biblical manhood and womanhood, and a general detestation of skinny jeans*.

What may or may not be missing in my life is not salient to the discussion here.

Wjat is definitely missing from Pen&Pulpit is a presentation of factual information.

Is Pen&Pulpit a religious version of The Free Thought Project?

And is “Brandon Hines” their “Matt Agorist?”

Hmmm …

I really have no concern about “skinny jeans” – I will leave that up to your embodiment.

In response to the first part of your comment, I do find it wildly unreasonable and completely illogical to inappropriately rely on the opinion of anyone who was completely unheard of until you pulled a Deckard ti search the web and attach the messenger.

So typical ...

You can trust some unknown and you obviously do – I will however respectively decline to do so.

I have no interest in “their” similar “convictions” – Er, “Opinions.”

What I seek and need is validation.

I need the acknowledgment that their thoughts and feelings are based on substantiated means that are supported by proof or evidence – something that is supported or verified by corroborating information.

I find this to be a reasonable approach to fact-finding …

He has something called a "discernment ministry".

These ministries do research to locate where error might be slipping into the Body of Christ.

There were dozens of these online years ago...probably still are...I haven't looked. Some legit...some not.

Ronnie Floyd

Anyone that has read this blog over the past 3 years knows how wacky Morris' teachings are on finances and tithing. Morris says non-tithers are arrogant, thieves, and subject to demon possession. He says do not pay rent or electric bill until you first give 10% to your church. He says church members must tithe to avoid divorce, or losing their kids or jobs to the devourer. Go to those links. Watch the video evidence of his teaching. This is the man Ronnie is quoting to his church as the premier expert on biblical financial principles.

And now Floyd will be president of the SBC Convention.

You might say that I'm overstating this, that Floyd really is not in lock step with Morris on this false doctrine. I'm not overstating it. In fact, Floyd outright questions the salvation of church members who don't fork over 10% to his church, mocking his members:

"You gonna go 'clucking' around here talkin' about how you got saved and changed and goin' to heaven when you die and you won't even trust God financially? Lord help ya. That's not the same God I know." Ronnie Floyd, 2014.

Floyd is a minister who agrees with Morris that people's checking accounts are supernaturally "cursed" if they don't fork over 10% of all their gross income to their church. He flat out told his church members that they don't know the same God he knows, if they aren't forking over 10% of their income. Watch this video to see what I'm talking about:

Do you see the arrogance and cockiness of this hotshot? He comes of as so full of pride. I can't believe those people sit there in his church and expose themselves to this nonsense.

Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen.

I went to your Ronnie Floyd link.

You, Deckard, of all people as a person working for a local TV station should know what I am about to share with you – but it is blatantly obvious that you are not well educated in your chosen profession.

So, I will try to educate you now.

I will start by sharing with you exactly what makes information reliable.

You must somehow and someday learn that not ever single written source is reliable. It does not matter how sound their presentations may appear to be. You need to evaluate the reliability of any written piece.

It is imperative that you consider several issues that are related to the subject at hand and especially to the person that has presented it. I have underlined those most applicable to your post here.

You need to ask and receive answers to:

1) Is the information current?
2) Is it related directly to the topic it discusses?
3) Does it provide sources for supporting ideas?
4) Are these sources reliable?
5) Is the purpose of the information to inform or to persuade?
6) Has the information been written and published recently?
7) Who is responsible for the information?
8) Is an author or publisher listed at all?
I looked at the information you posted in light of the above considerations.

The first thing I find is that the information was written and published not recently [#6]. It is age worn and dated many years ago – on June 8, 2014. Almost a decade ago. Therefore, in no way can the information be considered current [#1].

I see the information is from Jax Watchdog [#7]. Pray tell me who is Jax Watchdog. Maybe a relative of “watchman” – Eh?

Honestly, Deckard – Just what in the hell are you doing trying to feed me information that is many years old and generated by some unknown individual with no established creditability who calls himself: “Jax Watchdog.”

Deckard Asks: Do you see the arrogance and cockiness of this hotshot? He comes of as so full of pride. I can't believe those people sit there in his church and expose themselves to this nonsense.
“You need to see” the stupidity in your taking anything you can find off the internet that may even be many years old and written by some unknown individual who uses a pen name – and then you believing it while having the audacity to repost it.

It is most tragic that you have a pattern of taking anything you can find off the internet, believing it and then reposting it.

My God, man, stop doing that – Quit being do damned gullible …

I have wasted enough time with you on this.

Get back to me when you have something new and legitimate …

I still can’t believe you did this.

I still can’t believe 6hat you took the opinion of someone who calls himself “Brandon Hines” and the opinion of someone who calls himself “Jax Watchdog” and based on the personal opinions of those individuals – you crucified the pastor of a church.

So shamefully disgusting and heartbreakingly pathetic …

#25. To: Deckard (#22)

I can't believe those people sit there in his church and expose themselves to this nonsense.

The entirety of the Body of Christ (for the past 100+ years) are exemplified by the Church of Laodicea of Revelation.

These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation....You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. (Rev.3:14,17,18)

Christ is telling the Laodiceans that they are DELUSIONAL.

From Miriam Webster...

delusion, illusion, hallucination, mirage mean something that is believed to be true or real but that is actually false or unreal. delusion implies an inability to distinguish between what is real and what only seems to be real, often as the result of a disordered state of mind.

Look at Christians and Christianity as it stands today...delusion explains it all.
