Opinions/Editorials Title: I destroyed my left shoulder I had a fall in my yard. I won't go into the details now, but I was told I had a massive fracture of my upper humerus and shoulder socket. They told me that the only options I had was do nothing and live with it, or have a shoulder replacement surgery. Oh well. I am almost 60 years and this is the only broken bone I have ever had. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest So sorry to see this, ngt. Prayers for you. Give details when you can. I fractured my wrist and had a detached tendon. It took 3 years to heal...with a hand brace. Hopefully yours will heal as well. Don't know anything about the shoulder socket, tho.

Commas - semicolons - question marks are for girlie boys ! #3. To: no gnu taxes (#0) That is a tough decision. I wouldn't want a surgery unless absolutely necessary. I wish you the best.
#4. To: no gnu taxes (#0) (Edited) That stinks, man; I feel for you and the pain. About 25 years ago I dislocated my left shoulder for about 20 minutes (it fell back into place by itself) and to this day it hurts at night when trying to sleep on that side. But a fracture is a bigger deal, so you might have to suffer the surgery to recover usage and that's got its own consequences especially at our ages. I guess the only upside is that such a thing is now an option. Berniezuela, like Odumbass, would deny that to you and tell you to take a pill because you aren't a 'Rat politician. Best wishes to you.
#5. To: no gnu taxes (#0) I have a friend who had both shoulders replaced and he is quite happy with the result. It allowed him to return to work at a lower intensity, he was a Pilebuck. THIS IS A TAG LINE...Exercising rights is only radical to two people, Tyrants and Slaves. Which are YOU? Our ignorance has driven us into slavery and we do not recognize it. #6. To: WWG1WWA (#1) I went into my back yard to pick up some debris. All of a sudden, I felt light headed and dizzy like I was going to pass out. I couldn't keep my balance. I reached out with my left hand for some imaginary support and fell hard on my left shoulder. I don't remember pain, but it was obvious something damaging was done. I went to the emergency room the next day, and they said my upper humerus was shattered into a hundred pieces. They also told my hemoglobin level was less than half of what it should be. I was given 3 units of blood.
