House Dems Unveil Surefire Plan To Get Trump Reelected

December 10th, 2019

WASHINGTON, D.C.—House Democrats today announced a new plan to ensure Trump wins the White House again in 2020.

"We hereby unveil these articles of impeachment, which clearly lay out the undeniable fact that we will not win the White House back next year," said Rep. Jerry Nadler. "We have found Trump guilty of absolutely nothing, but we already started this whole process and it would look bad to back out now, so here we are."

"I declare here and now that Trump will be in the White House for at least another four years."

Some questioned if this was the best strategy, but Democrats pointed out that with four more years of Trump, they will be able to generate far more outrage than if they took back the White House. "It's a lot more fun to be extremists and scream at the sky for years and years instead of proposing policies that most Americans support and actually win elections."

‘Scream At The Sky’ Event Planned 1-Year After Election Of Trump

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – There’s an event Wednesday night, and we kid you not, called “Scream Helplessly at the Sky on the Anniversary of the Election.”

People across the country who are frustrated with President Donald Trump plan to literally scream it out.

Thousands of Facebook users have already signed up to attend events on Boston Common in Boston and in Washington Square Park in New York on Nov. 8. Events are also planned in Miami, Philadelphia, Dallas, Austin and in Bellingham, Washington.

More than 200 people have said on Facebook that they are interested in attending the event on the Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge in downtown Dallas.

If you’re interested, it starts at 6:00 p.m.

I suppose that was less expensive, less bothersome, and at least as effective as the ongoing bogus attempt at impeachment. At least the moonbats could get a temporary measure of relief from screaming at the sky until they were too exhausted to go on.

I see you recall that this was a national event. A harbinger of the dark era of Trump descending on the libs like the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

They're so dramatic. Very tiresome.

For tiresome, how about today's impeachment proceedings? It was sort of like Groundhog Day.

Bla bla bla.
Bla bla bla.
The Nays have it.
Roll call vote.
The Nays really have it.
The amendment is not adopted.

Their poll ratings are dropping fast. Trump's are picking up in key states like Iowa. The pundits act puzzled over how these purely coincidental events can be happening.

I think we're seeing signs already of a major backfire on the Dems over impeachment. Not just the thrust of the matter but just on how bad they look trying to pull it off. It's not pretty. It makes them look quarrelsome and incompetent. And like a bunch of whiny losers who can't let go of their last big defeat.

If I were one of the Radical Socialist Dems, I might question whether the establishment Dems were colluding with the establishment GOP to crush and destroy the Radical Socialist Dems who have seized control of the Democratic party, preferring to eradicate the cancer before it destroys the entire Dem party.

In the UK, the Liberals suffered their worst defeat since 1935. In addition to the Tories thumping them, Labor Party Brexiteers who could not support the Conservatives voted for the Brexit Party.

Putting party before the people is a loser.

I doubt that even AOC will make a baldfaced accusation of...collusion with the GOP...in the open. What we are more likely to hear is that the anti-impeachment Dems are functionally aiding and abetting the GOP effort to salvage Trump's presidency from a full-blown impeachment, that they encourage and give cover to the GOP to go even further in their efforts, etc.

Direct accusations against Dems facing re-election in districts that Trump carried strongly in 2016 would not be tolerated, especially from AOC and Tlaib who are already very unpopular in the Dem caucus. Of course, none of this will deter a lot of ugly language from Dem operatives, both inside and outside of libmedia.

I expect Pelosi will use her power as party leader ruthlessly, dictating who will vote for impeachment and who will not. If she things a Dem from a district that was strongly anti-Trump can keep their seat by voting against impeachment, she'll allow it. But some of these usual 10-15 tossup seats (that tend to flip every 2 years, no matter what) will not get this protection. I expect Pelosi will allow only 6-8 House Dems to vote no on impeachment. The rest will face implicit threats (when money gets tight, their fall campaign will be low-priority). She won't have to even pull out her big guns (funding primary challengers, cutting off DNCC funds and aid to a candidate like AOC, telling the big PACs not to spend on House Dems who won't follow her lead, etc. Pelosi has plenty of power in the party and knows exactly how to use it.

I doubt that too, but they may question in private how they got into the current mess. Mitch has made clear to Lindsey who is calling the shots in the Senate where Schiff and Chiaramella could be forced to testify.

Pelosi has stated she will not whip the vote, and Dems will be free to vote their conscience. She is not going to own this one alone.

You are correct that the Dem candidates can be controlled via funding. Hillary's campaign virtually Hoovered up all the money, and then the campaign controlled the distribution. That's one way to maintain "loyalty."
