He tells you in the video he is not using sights, just a red dot. The still from the video you show is before he makes a height adjustment. After he makes the correction his grouping improves...again no sights. I occasionally use a crossbow to dispatch a cow...it's quiet, effective, and a whole lot less violent than a slug. I wouldn't hesitate to use this guy's invention, which looks like it would work pretty good with an expandable blade point.
That is an interesting device. I never could hit anything with a bow. But that rig is intriguing. How long before some poli-turd labels it an " Assault Bow " and wants to ban them ?

Looks like it would meet the definition - semi-automatic. No doubt there are those who would ban any weapons whatsoever. They are banning knives in England - how insane is that? I'm like you - not much of a shot with a bow but this device is pretty cool.
Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen. It's not the lack of a sight that produces that pathetic group - it's his lack of consistent technique. And his lack of technique is consistent with the ignorance he displays in dry firing that compound bow multiple times while demonstrating his super duper invention. Anybody with an archery merit badge would recognize the mistakes he's making.

The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning.
Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom.
