If you haven’t been following, the Drag Queen Story Hour is a phenomenon that has been plaguing sane society in public libraries for several years now. The sick mentality of those who crossdress and demand access to young children, however, isn’t limited to public libraries. In New York, one Lutheran Church even participated. A drag queen who goes by the name “Reverend Yolanda” (how fitting?) is seen here dancing and dressing provocatively in Park Church Co-Op in Brooklyn, NY. And how fitting that there is a dead Jesus in the background? < If you were to die today, where would you go? Heaven? Hell? Not sure?

Unless things have changed drastically, Lutheran churches (or protestant ones for that matter), do not display a crucifix above the altar. I was raised as a Lutheran (Wisconsin Synod) and never have I seen one of those. Lutherans as well as myself believe that Christ rose from the dead. The Papists seem to keep Jesus perpetually on the cross for some reason.
Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen. I have a resurrection cross in my bedroom where Jesus' is on a cross, but his arms are raised upwards. A symbolic combination of death and resurrection. Saw it at Goodwill and grabbed it up. ;)

The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning.
Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom.

The third largest Lutheran body is the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, with about 400,000 members. The WELS is the most conservative of the three major Lutheran churches in the United States.
The WELS does not ordain women and does not allow women to office. They take the Holy Scriptures to be totally true. The WELS also does not consider members of the ELCA and of the LCMS to be 'legitimate' Lutherans.
