#2. To: Vicomte13 (#1) His Twitter account looks pretty fake too.
#3. To: Vicomte13, Tooconservative (#1) Fake or not, I do not find this hard to believe. Here's an article from Zero Hedge on a Rasmussen poll. I watch the Rallies and commentary. Black folks are leaving the plantation, which has Dems & Globalists in an uproar. Black Voter Support For Trump Nearly Doubles To 36%: Rasmussen https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-08-18/black- voter-support-trump-nearly-doubles-36-rasmussen
#4. To: WWG1WWA (#3) Black Voter Support For Trump Nearly Doubles To 36%: Rasmussen I doubt this, much as WaPo did. Other polling indicates that Trump may be attracting about 30% of the black male vote, largely based on reduced black unemployment since Trump took office. I think that is quite possible. And I think there is a hidden Latino vote that also approves of Trump's action on the economy; Latino voters are quite used to blowhard politicians back in their home countries anyway. And if I am even half-right about this, it will doom any Dem presidential candidate in 2020 and may cripple their down-ticket races considerably outside their core coastal Blue states.
#5. To: Tooconservative (#4) As far as downticket goes, Republicans showed that when they have power, they won’t do the right thing. But Democrats are showing that all they’ll do is attack the President. The importance of executive and judicial power are emphasized. As long as the courts uphold the President’s actions, Congress is reduced to irrelevance.
#6. To: Vicomte13 (#5) (Edited) As far as downticket goes, Republicans showed that when they have power, they won’t do the right thing. But they do like to cut taxes. Missed that repeal of ObamaCare by one little vote (McStain's legacy of treason and pettiness) but they didn't miss when it came to tax cuts with a federal budget that was metastasizing in debt and have accelerated the growth of debt, leaving Trump to take the blame for them lining the pockets of their tycoon donor base.
As long as the courts uphold the President’s actions, Congress is reduced to irrelevance. Surely you realize that if the entirety of American democracy has been reduced to relying on the Court as the nation's ultimate institution, then the American experiment (in the classic sense) has already failed. Nine partisan hacks are not a polity and they are strictly a reactionary entity that created the basis of their own power by the early assertion of their own power in Marbury v. Madison. No one ever granted them that power; they gave it to themselves. If that is the case, then the nine justices of the Court are no more than dictators in robes appointed by partisan hacks in the WH who always attempt to stack the Court in the favor of their own side. And the principles of American jurisprudence - and therefore American democracy - revolve entirely on which party's president is in power to replace them when one of them retires or dies. The truth is that American democracy has failed due to Congress and its rabid partisanship and rentseeking habits, and routine reliance on using hatred of the other party instead of actually solving problems in office. Congress and the WH and even the Court itself are essentially part of the ongoing and eternal Battle Of The Two Parties. The system has become fundamentally bankrupt. And the pols all want to blame Trump for it. Trump is at most only a symptom, not the cause of this fatal disease in the body politic. Trump is the Naked Emperor. Their fury against him is aroused in both parties because the voters can see that Congress and the courts are naked as well.
#7. To: Tooconservative (#6) They cut taxes primarily on the wealthy, to levels at which the government cannot be sustained in the long term, and they pile up the national debt.
