If you've watched the original flick of Mary Poppins (and didn't quite understand it THEN), it turns out the recently released update of the same movie reveals a dark side and narrative. (WHO KNEW??)
(Brief Recap):
Well-dressed, well-spoken woman drifts onto earth via umbrella supernaturally, and into the lives of somebody's children as a "Nanny." She performs various acts of magic, dispenses "medicine" (which is swallowed without question), and generally defies all matters of the Natural World.
The folksy Owen Benjamin takes an entertaining, provacative crack at reviewing, ad libbing, and critiquing it after watching it with his family (and two young boys.)

Do you remembering watching this movie as a kid? Did you understand the plot? I think it was the songs/music that's what we might recall.
In case you aren't familiar with Owen Benjamin, here is a brief but necessary introduction and great story...
Benjamin was once a rising star and comedian in Hollywood, having "made it" as he participated in shows, hob-nobbed with A-Listers and even hosting award shows. That was UNTIL he he shocked the people who run the scene by refusing to be coerced into publicly believing what *they* believed.
When Benjamin refused to surrender his soul and yield to Hollywood's requisite oaths to publicly support LGBTQXYZ marriage and crusade, abortion, and all of its perversions, he instantly became a pariah.
Having rapidly climbed up the ladder, he immediately lost his financial windfall and wealth, his Hollywood connections and friends, and of course, sacrificed his entire career. He was promptly blackballed. Everyone he was "friends" with suddenly cut him off and shunned him.
But there was great news -- as a result of Hollywood's ex-communication, he had an epiphany.
It caused Owen Benjamin to look inward, to be introspective. He saw Hollywood for what it was -- soul-stealing (literally), demonic, whoring, liars, phony, and evil. More importantly, Benjamin went from being an Atheist-Agnostic to being a Christian and truth-seeker who enjoys married life and his children on a farm and the simple things -- as well as blessings in life. He also enjoys interacting with others online where he dispenses his thoughts and broad observations on life and this world -- often with a great sense of humor and perspective.
Benjamin and his conversations/observations are often controversial -- few subjects are off-limits -- but he is honest. Sharing Truth with others and reminding others of what truly is important in life is his primary objective.
'Owen Benjamin "Highlights"' is an abbreviated version of much longer sessions of subjects riffed on line with an audience, which included feedback. It is spontaneous and unrehearsed. I highly recommend checking out his material.
