Time for some ugly truth about Pinguinite, the software used for the LF forum. It breaks up longish URLs that you post with the Auto Hyperlink feature by inserting a semi-random space in the middle of them, making them not work. If you Preview an article, you can check the URLs manually and take out any extra spaces the Auto Hyperlink feature inserts by error. IOW, if you want a link to Just Work, you either have to fix your link by taking out any extra spaces in it or just use the traditional < a href="https://somecrappysite.com/somecrappypage.html"> type notation. This is a longstanding bug in Pinguinite, so much so that it might be better to eliminate the feature entirely. It seems to crop up on any URL more than 40 characters. I have my suspicions it is caused by or related to linewrapping of the relatively narrow size of the TEXTAREA box that we post in which is only 80 characters. Here are your URLs, corrected so they work.
If you post very many bits from Scribd, it is handy to use Scribd's Embed feature. I'm sure you've seen others like nolu use this to good effect. For this FNC content, perhaps the link to Scribd is better than embedding the document here for easiest reading for LF people. Sometimes you really have to make it easy for people to read your content right here at LF rather than having to go to some site that pesters them with popups and sign-on requests and possible malware. You have to use your own judgment on which ones are worth embedding instead of just hyperlinking to them.
Tip: never underestimate the laziness of readers in clicking a hyperlink. LOL

Yes, I'd stopped hitting the hyperlink because they just would not work even when I do my own http deal. Sigh.
