Corrupt Government Title: Mark Levin blasts GOP Sen. Grassley for protecting anti-Trump 'whistleblower': 'Act like a serious senator' Radio talk show host Mark Levin had strong words for Sen. Chuck Grassley, R- Iowa, who defended the Ukraine whistleblower, saying that he and other Senate Republicans do not have a "clue" on the issue. Grassley "comes to the defense of an individual whom he doesn't even know, whose secrecy he believes should apply even though he's trying to bring down a president the United States," Levin said Tuesday on "The Mark Levin Show" on Westwood One. "Chuck Grassley doesn't have a clue what's going on around him and neither do most of the Republicans in the Senate, including Mitch McConnell." "Chuck Grassley doesn't have a clue what's going on around him and neither do most of the Republicans in the Senate, including Mitch McConnell." Grassley released a statement Tuesday saying the whistleblower should be protected. "This person appears to have followed the whistleblower protection laws and ought to be heard out and protected. We should always work to respect whistleblowers," the statement read. Levin called the complaint by the unidentified whistleblower, who divulged details of President Trump's phone call with the president of Ukraine, a "setup" and criticized Republicans who've defended him. "They didn't get it on the Russia collusion. They didn't get it with Kavanaugh and they don't get it now. It's a complete setup from beginning to end. And there's nothing there," Levin said. And there's nothing there." — Mark Levin The host of "Life, Liberty & Levin" challenged Grassley to get serious and defend the country. "So get the hell off your high horse and start paying attention to what's going on around you and act like a serious senator who has a serious responsibility," Levin growled. "Either come to the defense of this country or you don't. I don't give a damn if you like Trump or not, Senator Grassley or any of the rest of you." To: WWG1WWA (#0) The complaint does not meet the requirements for an IC Whistleblower complaint. There was no intelligence operation involved. The complainant does not qualify for those protections. The ICIG should be removed for acting as a partisan tool. If they exist, each source that wrongfully disclosed information to the complainant committed a crime is so doing, and should be prosecuted. They are not even arguably whistleblowers.

Now, as to the "should's", President Trump has the power to do ALL of those things, either directly, or through his Attorney General. He should do so IMMEDIATELY. Cut off the snake's head at the start. And he should fight everything. This time, unlike Nixon, if Trump is presented with blatantly partisan subpoenas and a biased court upholds them, Trump should reject the court's decision as well. If the "establishment" wants a constitutional crisis, Trump should give it to them full blast in the face with both barrels. In that sense, the ballot box in November 2020 will be the battlefield of a political civil war. If it turns into a shooting war, move decisively with authority and crush the criminals.
#5. To: WW1WWA, Stoner, Vicomte13 (#3) Additionally, the WB is protected for lawful disclosures to "a congressional intelligence committee, or a member of a congressional intelligence committee". Staffers are not included on that list. When Liddle' Adam Schitt claims the WB did not talk to him directly before filing the complaint, but did talk to some staffer, that is evidence that the WB did not follow the proper reporting procedures and thereby lost any claim to whistleblower protections. WB protections were ot included in the IC Whistleblower Protection Act of 1998. They arose in Title VI of the Intelligence Authorization Act (IAA) for Fiscal Year 2014, and are codified at 50 U.S.C. 3234, excerpted in relevant part below. https://law.justia.com/codes/us/2016/title-50/chapter-44/subchapter-ix/sec.-3234/

#6. To: nolu chan (#5) I don't really care about the law here. That law is always supposed to protect people, but whenever Democrats are facing danger or asserting power, there are leaks that favor them. Where are the leaks favoring Trump, or Republicans. The lack of leaks demonstrates a conspiracy, and the fact of the conspiracy means that it needs to be exposed to sunlight, so the People can decide.
#7. To: Vicomte13 (#6) As I have noted elsewhere, this is an impeachment campaign. This is a partisan political operation, pure and simple. It is organized crime on a grand scale. Various agencies of Alphabet City even have their favorite newspaper they choose to leak to. The leakers might as well be viewed as double agents. When they leave the agency, frequently a contract with CNN or MSNBC awaits.
