Bad move, based on a study by education professors Christopher and Sarah Lubienski … … who wrote in their book The Public School Advantage: Why Public Schools Outperform Private Schools which shows there’s little evidence behind the hype. Public schools are far from perfect, but even given their deficiencies, they have benefits that far outweigh those of privatized schools. Indeed, market-based educational reform, wrote the Lubienskis, is “increasingly a belief system rather than a policy theory." You say “eliminate public schools altogether.” You have been asked, but you have yet to say what schooling system you want to replace the public schools with. Or how much it will cost and where you will get the money. Why can’t you do that? It is becoming increasingly obvious to everyone that you are trying to communicate ideas beyond your limited intelligence. Most will just shut you off and pay no attention to you. I however will not do that because I am the intrepid one here who will readily call you out to tell you that knowledge is easily accessible now days. You can avail yourself to expertise and learn if you want to from others. But when you choose not to, then it is better to simply shut up. Your rampant pessimism is constantly displayed through your incongruous ravings. You're always negative. I am not saying that you have to change and become a cheerful optimist all the time. But I will say that if nothing positive ever comes from you in your posts, then people won’t be interested in what you have to say. You can now tell us, big mouth, what you want to replace the public schools with, how much it will cost and where you will get the money.
