To: Stoner (#1) (Edited) Deckard, thanks for posting !! SRV is one of my all time favorites. He does Hendrix better than Hendrix IMO. Maybe a lot of that has to do with the later recording technology. Makes me wonder what kind of music he'd be putting out had he not tragically died at his peak, same for Jimi and Terry Kath (Chicago). Years ago I jammed with a guy that was just as good. A lot of guys can copy SRV note for note, but there is just something magical about Stevie's sound.
