Her ilk also adhere to the notion that eating human meat/drinking human (live) blood, aka cannibalism energizes the human body and prolongs life. This is not a new thing Pete. Ancient civilizations (as well as some contemporary African tribes) practiced Cannibalism as well as human sacrifice. Have you heard of heard of Moloch?

You use "Exchange" in your context confers some kind of transaction.
When you and a woman loved each other and made a commitment, are/were you "selling your Free Will in exchange" for love?
People sell their "free will" everyday in order to have a job to go to,as one common example.
You mean people compromise on their principles out of economic or social necessity -- which isn't the same as "selling our free will."
Moreover, if we "love" a partner enough to commit to them (yes, whether to God OR a marriage partner OR even to children, friends, or our dog), we are NOT "selling" our free will" in those cases either; We gladly, voluntarily and willfully surrender our heart as an act or commitment of mutual love, trust, and becoming One.
You are just selling yours Free Will] for the promise of eternal life because you are afraid of dying.
