Satanism disguised as "art" and "pop music" was always the simplest way to achieve this as well convert young people to accept subversion. The MSM and the "Beast System" have promoted this nobody into some kind of artistic genius and musical revelation. Folks, without any exaggeration, her videos, this agenda is THE most blatantly satanic, demonic thing I have ever seen that's been mainlined into the public conscious (and subconscious.) This is great breakdown of the song and agenda (referring demon possession, magic, cannibalism.) Billie Ellish and THIS song had been "trending" at YouTube" and elsewhere... FWIW, 'A Call Foe An Uprising' is a great channel that exposes the ongoing plethora of the overall elites' subversive agenda.

Well, Ella and Janis were actual vocalists who sang about love and life... You've underscored part of this trickery; The PTB would have us believe there's ANY comparison at all to Joplin and Fitzgerald, based on simple popularity and "record sales." This Billie Eilish character sings about DEATH. Being demon-possessed. And self-loathing to the point of considering the curiosity of suicide. This new totally contrived "music sensation" is an Mainstream Media/Corporate/Hollywood exercise and heater is NOT based on actual entertainment value, but solely about mass indoctrination and brainwashing. This Billie Eilish creation came out of no where to "sing" about encouragement in exploring suicide, death, demon possession, and allowing the Dark Side to envelope one's senses. The video reinforces all of the above. If you haven't already, watch it with NO sound. How do each of you interpret what's going on?
Gaga is talented. Yes... But is totally sold out to her Illuminati/Satanic masters. By many accounts (including herself) it's made her a head-case. That's the "All Seeing Eye" we see from her video clip. FWIW, the masks worn by her masked background dancers also have have symbolic significance.
What I see is an attempt to mainstream what is common symbolism used in Amityville Horror, or other movies about possession, demonic control of humans and the destructive aftermath. What I feel is disgust, I would not play this at a Halloween party. It is not fun, light, dark or a heavy subject. It is merely symbolism with chanted words in a sing song voice. I would be surprised if this was her creation, as people around her shaped a video to her song. It is always the creators who will shape her sound and style. Just because they say that she has not sold out, means she has sold out. She is now stuck in a niche of being the next in line to be destroyed and used up. Like Brittany Spears, or the Cyrus hoe. Sure, they make look okay and make more money. But they are empty husks filled with ?????. I sense there is much evil around her and the production. I don't know if that is her style or is she sold out to the demonic. It is there for all to see. From a guy who is still freaked out by the visions encompassed in 1950-60's Sodom and Gomorrah movies...... As Yoda would say, a disturbance in the force there is.
