International News Title: CNN Pundit Says Palestinians Should Erase Israel From the Map In comments made at the United Nations, frequent CNN contributor Marc Lamont Hill went full-on terrorist when he advocated for a “free Palestine, from the river to the sea.” In using that phrase, Hill sounded like nothing so much as a Hamas leader calling for the ultimate one-state solution – a solution that erases Israel off the map. It is true, after all, that under such a scenario – a river to the sea scenario – there would be no room for Israeli state. And while Hill did not actively call for the dissolution of Israel, in using a phrase so well established by the worst of terrorist groups, one need not read too far into this particular dog whistle to understand what he was getting at. Hill, of course, says that anyone accusing him of such a destructive, dangerous statement is out to lunch. He’s laughing it up on Twitter, insisting that he never said anything of the like. He doesn’t have to bother taking the criticism seriously, seeing as how the liberal media is only willing to streeeeeeetch questionable comments when they come from the mouth of a Republican. Ron DeSantis asks Florida voters not to “monkey up” a good thing, and the press goes bananas. But a liberal pundit calls for a “free Palestine” to exist in the very territory Israel now occupies? No problem, he’s cool. At The Federalist, author David Marcus said the implications of Hill’s comment were clear. “Honestly, what else could he have meant?” Marcus wrote. “Perhaps he didn’t know he was parroting the language of terrorists. Perhaps the line was fed to him and he was ignorant of its origins. But assuming he has the most basic grasp of geography, where does he expect the Jewish state to exist? In the Red Sea? Swallowed up by the waters that once in the Bible parted for them? If Palestine exists from river to sea, there is no Israel. Can he possibly be unaware of that?” Only weeks after the left-wing media and the liberal Jews of Pittsburgh were laying the synagogue shooting at President Trump’s feet, the silence greeting this extraordinary, genocidal statement is deafening. We suppose anti-semitism is the kind of accusation you throw around only when it is convenient to your political interests. Sadly, for many American liberal these days, anti-semitism and anti-Israel are no longer synonyms. They’ve baked the anti-Zionist rhetoric so far into the dough that it’s never coming out again. Meanwhile, a travel ban against countries like Syria and Iran is considered anti-Muslim. Don’t quite understand how those two things square up, but we’ve long figured out that trying to understand liberal logic is a fool’s game. Palestinians have sent their children as suicide bombers to kill Israelis. Palestinians storm the Israeli border pushing children in front of them, and they hide behind women and children when Israelis come hunting for the rockets. Palestinians, and especially Hamas, are the true war criminals. One cannot be serious about peace when you openly advocate for the eradication of Israel who is the number one ally of the USA in this region. I for one have never heard that phrase before. Was Lamont aware of its origins? A few celebrities were apparently tricked into using anti-Jewish (or is it only anti-Israel) terminology which they were unaware was just that. Might this be a similar case with Lamont? Hell, it's even possible an Israeli apologist somehow convinced him to use that phrase without him realizing it's significance specifically to have him crucified and removed from CNN's staff. We don't know, but we do know that the Israeli government engages is such media tricks. Palestinian treatment at the hands of Israel is a legit subject of criticism, but certainly that is the real crime he committed.

To: IbJensen (#0) Palestinians have building tunnels under the Israeli border and launching rockets at Israel for decades yet still have not built a school, water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, or any other infrastructure to improve their lives.
Israelis have blockaded their access to international trade, restricted imports of building materials, chopped down their orchards and vineyards, constructed illegal settlements, jailed them for political crimes and allow their own to go free with little or no punishment for crimes including murder. This is not a black and white issue.
#3. To: Pinguinite (#2) You believe your sources and I'll believe mine. I'll put you down in the Anti- Israel column. Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs. #4. To: IbJensen (#3) You believe your sources and I'll believe mine. I'll put you down in the Anti- Israel column. That's fine with me. Just don't say I hate Jews because I don't. My current take though is that the Israeli government does meddle with US media and politics to promote as much of a pro-Israel bias among both the American public and the Congress as possible.
#5. To: IbJensen (#0) The Palestinians are a waste of space, but then they are Muslims and their world view doesn't allow for peaceful co-existence. Israel has a right to exist, the UN said so and then withdrew support. The Palestinian homeland was intended to be Jordan but that didn't work out
#6. To: IbJensen (#0) Swallowed up by the waters that once in the Bible parted for them? Bibi will part the Mediterranean so that they can go back to Europe. ![]() #7. To: paraclete (#5) They lost. The Palestinians lost a series of wars that they and their allies initiated. Like the American Indians, France and Holland in America, England in France, Germany all over Europe, the Roman Empire, the Greek Empire before it, the Japanese, the Chinese - everybody else on the planet. When you wage war and lose it, there are consequences. You lose land, you lose sovereignty, you lose control over your fate. It has always been the way of victor and vanquished, and it cannot and will not change: the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must. Palestinians and Israelis despise one another. They have fought four wars and an intifada, and the Israelis have won all five. Therefore, the Palestinians have lost the land of Israel. They will never get it back, not ever. Their choice is to live lives of misery in refugee camps FOREVER, getting smacked down and killed again and again and again, whenever they rise up to fight, like so many Indians in and endless, hopeless series of wars against the cowboys, OR they do what the defeated have done everywhere in the world, from the English and Irish and Confederates to the Germans and Japanese: submit to their conqueror, accept the loss, and get on with peace. To fight for one's homeland is honorable. To destroy the future of one's own people fighting on forever against an invincible foe is stupid. Even the Apache eventually went onto the Reservation, learned English and joined the mainstream of American society. Even the Confederates submitted and regained their votes and seats in Congress. Part of the art of survival in the world is knowing when you are well and truly beaten, and submitting with grace so that you can live on under new management. That has been the fate of everybody's ancestors, no matter where you are from. There are no undefeated peoples anywhere. Had the Germans or Japanese behaved like the Palestinians, they might have been wiped out. The Indians certainly would have been. At this point, the Palestinians bring greater misery upon themselves by maintaining the fight. If pride demands they be defeated a sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth time before they finally submit, or they have to be completely expelled from Israel and a wall built around the place - however it happens, at the end of the day the Israelis will rule Israel, and the Palestinians will never return. The sooner there is general acceptance of that reality, the sooner that people can stop dying over there. We're never giving Manhattan back to the Powhatans. The Israelis are never giving Tel Aviv back to the Palestinians. Wrong? Right? Might makes right. Always has.
#8. To: paraclete (#5) How many wars do the Muslims have to lose before they get the message and move to Saudi Arabia where there's plenty of room and only a short jaunt to Mecca? Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs. #9. To: IbJensen (#8) Being Muslim wont allow them to accept defeat, they look back to great victories not defeats because they believe it is their destiny to rule the world. Americans should understand this point of view and perhaps point the way for them by offering some reservations as they did for the Indians. What it takes is forced removal
#10. To: paraclete (#9) they look back to great victories not defeats They have to look way back to find a great victory. Their enslavement of the poor Spaniards was about the last time they subjugated and made misery out of innocent lives.
If that's their goal: to keep trying until they win, there won't be many Palestinians left. Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs. #11. To: All (#0) I do not know much about this subject but from what I see there will be a winner and a loser. Separating Palestine into mulitland groups is crazy. Why not give Palestine a large contiguous state walled off from Israel. As it sets right now there can never be peace.
#12. To: Justified (#11) I do not know much about this subject but from what I see there will be a winner and a loser. Israel should line up tanks and bulldozers and push the muzscum out of Israel. That is the solution.
#13. To: Justified (#11) You almost have that now, all that is needed is to evacuate Gaza, with a small exchange of territory. Gaza is the great impediment to a solution to the problem
#14. To: IbJensen (#10) Oh no it was much more recent that that, Syria, Iraq, Mosul and Racca, but thankfully it was short lived. What they don't understand is they can't win, there is not enough of them in one place to win
#15. To: paraclete (#13) Gaza is the great impediment to a solution to the problem Do you really believe there is a solution? Doesn't the antichrist have a "solution"?
#16. To: Justified (#11) This makes sense, but what makes more sense is to remove them entirely. There is plenty of room in the Arabian desert and the Saudi have enough money to make it viable
#17. To: paraclete (#16) This makes sense, but what makes more sense is to remove them entirely. There is plenty of room in the Arabian desert and the Saudi have enough money to make it viable Antarctica has some free space. Maybe they could move there.
#18. To: A K A Stone (#17) Antarctica has some free space. Maybe they could move there. No they would eat the penguins and make the place untidy
#19. To: paraclete (#18) Sleep well.
