" It would be interesting to see what sort of attitude adjustment Mexico would have about letting them enter at their southern border and march across the country if Mexico's northern border is closed by the U.S. Army.
#3. To: nolu chan, *Border Invasion* (#2) if Mexico's northern border is closed by the U.S. Army In the recent past, zero illegal alien invaders have been stopped by the US military, National Guard. They just observe and report to the Border Patrol, AFAIK. Unless they have orders to engage and detain they won't be able to stop the invasion. Correct me if I'm wrong, can you cite an incident of them actually detaining even one illegal invader?

We do not need to wait for Congress to allocate multi billions of dollars, nor spend the months & months of construction time to build a huge "beautiful" concrete wall like a taj Maha. Just send in military combat engineers and place a high density minefield, with AP & anti vehicle mines, about 1,000 or 2,000 YD across, also place large concentration of Concertina wire. Put the proper signs on both sides. Then build fortified observation positions and cover the area with machine gun / SNIPER fire. After there are a few bodies blown apart, no one is going to try to cross. This can be placed quickly, and cheaply !!! And it can be done RIGHT NOW !!! Yes, the Dems & the media will scream & cry, but tuff shit !! DJT is the commander in chief. He can order this done, and NOW !! Come on Mr President, stop wasting time, quit blustering and tweeting !!! DO THIS NOW !!
