Among the candidates running against incumbent Rep. Barbara Comstock in Virginia's Tenth Congressional District is a self-described pedophile who has allegedly admitted he raped his late spouse and advocates what he calls "benevolent white supremacy." Thirty-seven-year-old Nathan Larson, an accountant, confirmed to the Huffington Post Thursday that he had created the websites "suiped.org" and "incelocalypse.today" -- which were chat rooms for pedophiles and misogynists. The sites were taken down earlier this week by their domain host.
HuffPost reports that Larson used "Leucosticte" and "Lysander" as user names to post in the chat rooms, where he endorsed child rape and sexual abuse. He reportedly wrote one essay about father-daughter incest and another about raping his ex-wife repeatedly and was asked by HuffPost whether there was a "grain of truth" in the essays. He said there was, and suggested that it's not uncommon for women to have rape fantasies.
Larson is also a convicted felon who spent 16 months in prison for threatening to kill the president in 2008 (it was not clear whether his emailed threat targeted then-President George W. Bush or President-elect Barack Obama). Larson is running as a "quasi-neoreactionary libertarian," and he espouses a number of views that are disturbing and, to put it mildly, out of step with cultural norms.
Legalize the possession and distribution of child pornography;
End minimum age for consumption of alcohol;
Repeal Violence Against Women Act. "We need to switch to a system that classifies women as property, initially of their fathers and later of their husbands," Larson writes;
Legalize early marriage'
Legalizing suicide. "Legalizing barbiturates, heavy machine guns, etc. makes available reliable and peaceful means of suicide for those who need them," his manifesto reads;
Favors right to discriminate;
Legalize insider trading;
Puts forward the idea that Jewish state should be in "more defensible location," like the state of New Jersey;
End laws that ban felons from owning firearms.
Larson's manifesto also reveres Adolf Hitler as a "white supremacist hero," as well as Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism.
Larson has run for public office in the past as a Libertarian, though the Libertarian Party censured him last year and expelled him from the party. "Nathan Larson does not have and will never receive the Libertarian Party nomination," Libertarian Party of Virginia Chair Bo Brown said in a statement in February 2017.
"He espouses many archaic and dark ideas that fly in the face of libertarian philosophy. The Libertarian Party believes in equal rights for all people. No matter how he attempts to rationalize his opinions, they are far outside the realm of the Libertarian Party Platform. If he persists in his campaign for office, he will find that his ideas and previous writings are considered repugnant to the people of Virginia and rightfully so."

Nothing unusual with a libertarian’s view being “out of step with cultural norms.”
With the exception of Gatlin's affiliation with yukon, never before have I worried about tater's future. But it is obvious he is out on the fringe. He is trying to mainstream libertarians based on some isolated rubbish.
He knows he is undergoing deep despair in order to capture attention, too. But why?
Staying on the topic in the article, what we find with the libertarian described in this article is another socially weird libertarian practicing his libertarian philosophy. His is a typical representative case of someone who feels alienated and finds himself an ideological safe space by being part of a group of weirdos whose ideology continues to be far outside of the mainstream. If you think about it rationally and objectively, if one wasn’t weird then would one willfully identify with as any kind of libertarian and perform these perverted practices? Or anarchist, communist, even say Satanist? People usually want to be accepted and find it hard when they are not, so they becomes a libertarian.
Since you are a practicing libertarian, Bucky, do weird libertarians realize they are so weird?
You don’t even know what a “quasi-neoreactionary libertarian” is....do you?
Of couse you don’t. So, let me explain it you:
The neoreactionary movement (a.k.a. neoreaction, NRx, the Dark Enlightenment) is a loosely-defined cluster of Internet-based political thinkers who wish to return society to forms of government older than liberal democracy. They generally present their views as a revival of the traditions of Western civilization, or a return to a natural order of things.
Many of the current wave of neoreactionaries were former libertarians who had concluded that freedom and the free market were fundamentally incompatible with liberal democracy. Curtis "Mencius Moldbug" Yarvin, generally considered the founder of the current movement, describes his own journey as "from Mises to Carlyle" via Hans-Hermann Hoppe, an anarcho-capitalist who pushed feudalism as his desired end state. It's ideal for soi-disant libertarians who realise they don't actually like freedom for others all that much.
Neoreactionaries are the latest in a long line of intellectuals who somehow think that their chosen authoritarian thugs wouldn't put them up against the wall. Possibly they hope to use sheer volume of words as a bulletproof shield, or consider themselves somehow too competent, virtuous, and useful to end up one of the serfs.
The movement is largely insignificant and mostly an object of curiosity (one must hope it remains this way), though it has attracted some of the pseudo-intellectual variety of racist. It has helped serve as an ideological foundation for parts of the alt-right, though few of those read things.
Why did you seek out a article on the Internet and then post in a publick forum that is otherwise not serious about the main issues of contemporary politicks?
... post in a publick forum that is otherwise not serious about the main issues of contemporary politicks?
Contemporary means belonging to or occurring in the present. It is occurring in the present when you libertarians most recently had the Libertarian Party chair candidate strip on stage during the national convention. It belongs to the present when you libertarians now have a candidate for Congress who is “pro-incest, pedophilia and rape,” is a “white supremacist.” wants to “legalize Dignitas-style assisted suicide clinics,” and served 16 months in federal prison for threatening to kill President Barack Obama. Bud, that is “libertarian contemporary politics” at it finest moment in current time.
Why did you seek out a article ...
“We hold your libertarian weird truths and fanatical beliefs to be self-evident ...”
Weird? Yes, you are.
Nah, never when compared to a libertarian. You people take the cake.
