Thanks for turning me on to Liberty Daily. Conservatives need our own slightly hyperbolic headline too. (Except that we needn't over-exaggerate a THING that the Rage-o-holic Left does, do we?) You just can't get quality #FakeNews like this at other websites. CNN tries hard but can't compete with WNDR. HA, true dat. Not even CNN can match World New Daily Report for over the top "reporting". Absolutely HILARIOUS. And clever. It's sorta like a cyber MAD Magazine of current event. The Onion on steroids. Their template resembles any other usual "news" source with its enlarged isolated quotes, statistical citations and stylized quotes are nice touches too. (Airport attendant regarding Terrorist): “He kept crying and saying he wished he had kept his day job as a janitor instead.” Priceless. And then: ...According to doctors, both could also suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome. Another element of their template is how they end each outrageous story with some bland news filler at the end of each story. They also specialize in finding really outrageous mug shots or photos of some total nutjob to go along with the stories. They like stories about animal brothels and unusual sex acts involving animals in zoos and such. Or some deer hunter getting raped by a yeti. Let's face it, they are #FakeNews professionals.
Another funny story -- these cats are professionals, no doubt. The Darwin Award warnings over the obvious are a hilarious touch. Part of their template is to choose things like local landmarks or hospitals or police in some dinky town and mention some details about them...Another element of their template is how they end each outrageous story with some bland news filler at the end of each story. I guess there's no fear of lawsuits.
I'm not certain but I have noticed that some of those photos look like people from other stories on the site. I think at least some of those photos are of the people who run the site or are associated with it. It's kind of fake-ish photos, like what you might suspect if you look at a joke site like PeopleOfWalmart.com. Are those all real people? Are they just being as outrageous as possible to get their pic on POW? Who knows. But you start to wonder.
