#8. To: paraclete (#7) sounds like a bird scarer to me Is that like a deer scarer? The ones we used to keep deer off stored alfalfa were powered with small propane bottles. You might have a decent guess there. The lady said it sounded like it was slowly moving (west, I think). So maybe someone mounted a noisemaker in a vehicle and was using it to drive wildlife out of an area.
