The Establishments war on Donald Trump Title: Giuliani Looks To Swiftly End Mueller's Investigation On Thursday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani joined President Donald Trump's legal team and said that he is aiming to bring Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation to an end within the next "week or two." Giuliani had said earlier in the day that he was joining Trump's legal team specifically to help wrap up Mueller's Russia investigation because it was for "the good of the country." “I’m going to join the legal team to try to bring this to a resolution,” Giuliani told the New York Post. “The country deserves it.” Giuliani noted that he has had a long relationship Mueller, a man that he said he greatly "respect[s]," and that he's done a good job. “I don’t know yet what’s outstanding. But I don’t think it’s going to take more than a week or two to get a resolution," Giuliani said. “I’m going to ask Mueller, ‘What do you need to wrap it up?’” Giuliani would not discuss whether or not Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein might be fired by Trump, stating, “I’m not involved in anything about those issues. My advice on Mueller has been this: He should be allowed to do his job, he’s entitled to do his job.” The Justice Department's Office of the Inspector General released Comey's memos to Congress today, a move that top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), said could lead to Rosenstein being "being placed in contempt of Congress and the special counsel investigation of being shut down." Poster Comment: I'm dubious about Rudi's chances but Trump could do a lot worse for a lawyer than a former federal prosecutor/politician who knows how to handle a hostile media. Pardon cohen If you ... don't use exclamation points --- you should't be typeing ! Commas - semicolons - question marks are for girlie boys ! #3. To: Tooconservative (#0) Frankly, i think Trump has a lot of regrets about appointing Sessions as AG instead of Giuliani.
#4. To: no gnu taxes (#3) Frankly, i think Trump has a lot of regrets about appointing Sessions as AG instead of Giuliani. A careful serious appaisal of Trump reveals he doesn't have brains or integrity enough to feel ambarassment or regret about anything. He's just another loud-mouth huxter who ran for president and won against somebody worse than he is. We've had quite a few of those lately.
#5. To: rlk (#4) Why would anyone care about the opinion of someone who fucks monkeys like you?
#6. To: A K A Stone (#5) Why would anyone care about the opinion of someone who fucks monkeys like you? What a thigh slapper that is. For my money, the last man worthy of the presidency was Ross Perot. His televised lectures on economics and politics were a national treasure.
#7. To: rlk (#6) the last man worthy of the presidency was Ross Perot Then there isn’t anything worth living for. Eat a buckshot sandwich. I'm the infidel... Allah warned you about. كافر المسلح #8. #10. To: no gnu taxes (#3) Frankly, i think Trump has a lot of regrets about appointing Sessions as AG instead of Giuliani. Giuliani didn't want it. Supposedly he only wanted SoS. Kind of a slap to Rudi when Trump interviewed Mitt then picked Tillerson.

He was more like Hillary than Hillary was. The two of them belong togather in a zoo for LGBT advocates.
#14. To: Stoner (#12) GI, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Sure. But they're not entitled to have their opinion respected.
#15. To: Stoner (#8) He thinks we evolved from apes? So he does think he is doing that.

#18. To: Fred Mertz, Deckard (#17) When Rudi ran for prez, it was non-stop drag pix, most of them with Trump. When Trump ran, hardly anyone posted those. I bet Rudi noticed though. : )

To: GrandIsland (#19) Well, you could have been a little more tactful. For instance, "eat a dick" is still plenty rude as compared to "eat some buckshot".
#21. To: Tooconservative (#20) Well, you could have been a little more tactful. “Tactful” is subjective. IMHO, eating dick is way worse than death. That was me, being kind. I'm the infidel... Allah warned you about. كافر المسلح #22. To: Fred Mertz (#17) That is so sick that it's funny. It's also desqualifying in a candidate for a position requiring seriosness and dignity.
#23. To: GrandIsland, rlk (#21) That was me, being kind. I know that rlk appreciates your thoughtfulness. LOL
#24. To: Tooconservative (#10) Giuliani didn't want it. Not sure where you are getting that information but: "I certainly have the energy, and there's probably nobody that knows the Justice Department better than me," Giuliani told Chris Cuomo of "New Day." "Well, I was an assistant U.S. attorney. I was the associate attorney general of the United States, third-ranking official under Ronald Reagan. I've argued in front of the Supreme Court of the United States. I've argued in almost every circuit. And I tried, as a personal lawyer and U.S. attorney, over 50 cases." https://www.newsmax.com/TheWire/rudy-giuliani-attorney-general-trump-president/2016/11/11/id/758421/
#25. To: no gnu taxes (#24) You can find as many articles saying that Giuliani turned it down. And he said at the time he was totally happy in the private sector and didn't want to re-enter government. I've wondered if Trump will fire Sessions finally and get Guiliani to step in as A.G. He is one of the few prominent Republicans who could get confirmed easily. It would be hard for Dems to say no.
