Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says she supports John McCain's position on immigration, including a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. It's the first time she's addressed the issue in depth, and her views are likely to shape her chances of leading the Republican Party should McCain fail to win the White House nect month. She said she agrees with McCain, who fought most of his party in trying to legalize most illegal immigrants. "John McCain has been so clear with his policy and it makes a lot of sense too. We secure our borders first. But then with a comprehensive approach we must deal humanely with those who are here, and we must allow the steps to be taken to protect the families of those who are here, maybe as illegal immigrants today," she told Univision's "Al Punto" Sunday political talk show in an interview aired this weekend. She said she doesn't support "amnesty" because those here illegally should be shuttled to the back of the line for services. "Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They've got to follow the law, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides." She also said she opposes driver's licenses for illegal immigrants and said she would not halt immigration raids. She said decisions on raids should be made "on a case-by-case basis to consider all the ramifications of each individual action." — Stephen Dinan, national political correspondent, The Washington Times

She probably thought when her daughter was late that it wasn't a "total pregnancy".
She, similar to the rest of the GOP neocons pontificate out of their asses when discussing immigration or any other issue that is pro-American.

While I have no doubt you think it's about who you (plural) support, and have proven it with deflections and personal attacks, the thread is about Palin's views on immigration. See, that's why it's entitled "Palin finally speaks on immigration, supports path to citizenship". The rest of us are looking for someone to support, and are interested in Palin's views on immigration without the broken-glass Palin supporters' deflections to Ron Paul and the personal attacks. Anyone with a brain will see those who have done those deflections and attacks for what they are, remember who they are, and disregard their comments from now on. I'm just happy I could have one small part in exposing them.

Exactly its un stated! Do you care about amnesty? If so , why are you always absent from the threads discussing what those in power are doing to promote it? You focus on a private citizens statement and pass on legislation pending. You are a fraud on this issue.
So you don't know how much of amnesty she wants? If there were ten points to amnesty, and she wanted only 9, that would qualify as "Not Total Amnesty". What I'm trying to find out is what parts of amnesty, while not total amnesty, does she support? Do you know?
She is a private citizen. She hasn't even announced that she will run. She has yet to make a single campaign speech. She has yet to take part in a single debate. Yet you know what she means, maybe. All the while you've expressed no issues what so ever with pending amnesty legislation. You are a fraud on this issue of amnesty for illegals.
If you don't know what parts of amnesty she does or doesn't support, just say so.
