YouTube is getting involved with the national gun-control debate with the announcement of some restrictions on firearms-related videos.
The online-video site will ban videos promoting or linking to websites selling firearms and accessories, as well as videos that show users how to manufacture firearms, Bloomberg.com is reporting.
YouTube says it periodically makes adjusts to its posting guidelines and released a statement saying, "While we've long prohibited the sale of firearms, we recently notified creators of updates we will be making around content promoting the sale or manufacture of firearms and their accessories," according to reports.
The website, owned by Alphabet Inc.'s Google, is a popular site for gun-related videos, and, according to the report, has faced intense criticism for hosting videos about guns, bombs, and other weapons.
I do not go to church every time the doors are opened, but I love Jesus Christ. I am only human and fail Him daily. I believe Jesus is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, was crucified on a cross, died for my sins and rose from the dead and that He loves us dearly, and is faithful to forgive us of our sins. But He says that if you deny me in front of your friends I will deny you in front of my Father. Can I get an Amen!
I read somewhere else it was just gun sales and ammo sales not "gun" videos?
