Of course, the world must change because some loopy 16yo Millennials are throwing a hissy fit.

And the republic has failed entirely, the representatives elected by the people across the nation are corrupt or indifferent, and so all we need is to institute some sort of mob rule where laws get passed depending on how many angry demonstrators show up in the Beltway to demand some change.

I loathe the idea of giving in to these whiny Millennials and their attempt at mob rule. Let them run for office, let them vote. But don't give in to the mob howling at Congress's door.

This thread isn't about you or hondo or Gary Johnson.

You didn't even address a single post to the article. You just saw the word 'hondo' and charged at him blindly.

I know it's a sruprise to hear but some people actually do come here to read an article and then comment on that article. Shocking, huh?

Here's some facts for you: Gary Johnson on Gun Control

Banning assault weapons just criminalizes the owners Q: You said there might be a role in restricting guns from terrorists or the mentally ill; but there have been specific proposals debated in the Senate, which it sounds like you reject-

JOHNSON: Well, nothing has come through Congress.

Q: So, do you have a view on what might work?

JOHNSON: No, I don't.

Q: What about assault-style weapons? Is there a constitutional right to that?

JOHNSON: Well, assault-style weapons, meaning semi-automatic-style rifles, you are talking about 30 million weapons, and if you do that, I daresay half the owners of those weapons are not going to turn them in, and now you're going to criminalize the ownership of those weapons.

Q: So, it sounds to me like you're saying, in theory, 'Sure,' but in fact there's no proposal that would meet your test. If there was something that would work.

JOHNSON: I don't want to for a second say that there might not be that proposal tomorrow.

Take out the space preceding trashes, and it comes us as the story of Gary Johnson throwing the cap & ball pistol that Austin Peterson gave him after his nomination at the Libertarian convention, into a trash can.

That just means that Gary didn't want that particular gun, NOT that he's anti-2a. It shows that Stone loves to jump to false conclusions and drama queen it up with his favorite topic GAY Johnsons.

What article did they come to read as there is only video for this article?

The "article" is the posted content that began the thread, whether a text article, photos, video or podcast content. When you do a Post Article at LF, the TEXTAREA box labelled "Article" is the article of a thread. I really shouldn't have to explain this to you. If you have a problem with your forum software, you can ask Neil to explain what an "article" is to you. It's very obvious from the mysql database that drives your website.

As for your constant accusations that hondo voted for Gary Johnson, can you even prove that?

In April 2012, the Libertarian Party of Nebraska successfully lobbied for a reform in ballot access with the new law requiring parties to requalify every four years instead of two.[63] Following the 2012 election, the party gained automatic ballot status in 30 states.[64]

Following the 2016 election, the party announced that it had achieved automatic ballot status in 37 or 38 states plus the District of Columbia.

The only conclusion is that hondo only had a ~60% chance of living in a state where he could vote for LP's Johnson.

Maybe hondo can tell us if Johnson was even available on his ballot or if he even voted in the 2016 election. As opposed to the usual sodomy innuendo you spew at him on thread after thread which has gotten quite dull and shop-worn.

I recall some trolling he did with the usual Mitt-is-gay kind of graphics.

Like this one (in the first 30 DDR-searched images for "mitt-is-gay").

But it is true. He did say that and ran that campaign and his later ones for governor the same way with the same kind of rhetoric.

It may be trollish to post these things but that doesn't make it untrue. Romney is very much a pro-gay candidate, even more than Trump. And when he gets elected to the Senate, you'll probably hear some reminders from hondo about who and what Romney always was.

BTW, since you've hijacked this thread by attacking hondo in post #2, my own post #1 is the only post on this thread that discusses in any way the article used to begin this thread. IOW, you turned a legit news thread into a hondo bashfest because, well, that's just important to you.

Anyway, the article is still about the upcoming Million Moron Millennials march (slated to go down in history as about as meaningful as the Million Homie March, the Million Moron Mommies March, etc.).

It's not about how you feel about hondo. That's no secret to any of us. Nothing on this thread was about Gary Johnson until you decided to make it about Johnson. And now you've managed to trash the entire thread in your anti-hondo rampage.

And you still haven't bothered to make a single comment about the thread's article. All you saw was that it was posted by hondo and nothing else.

I notice that at the moment, Fox News is broadcasting some background footage of some early Million Moron Millennials (about 30 of them) staging a protest across the street from the WH with a "lie-in" protest, to look like a bunch of shooting victims. They're all bundled up. I noticed the student they focused on most was a black teen girl with glasses, in a down parka, who seemed to be taking 2 breaths/second even while lying on the ground.

Or are we allowed to actually post about the content of this thread's article?

I don't see any mass movement of youth voters turning out to vote for anything less than a pretty charismatic leader like 0bama. They did vote for him. But they didn't show up to vote for Dems not named '0bama' in 2016 or in the 2010 or 2014 midterms.

The various Million Moron Marches seldom succeed.

People just don't like mob rule, hordes of people descending on the Capitol to try to force Congress to enact major legislation or else. It wasn't even very successful during its heyday during the civil rights fights and demonstrations in the Sixties over racial issues and the Vietnam war.

We've had a lot of Million Moron Marches, going back a century now. Their track record is dismal as a way to enact public policy.

The Democrats teach a calice disregard for human life. They teach if you have a problem that murder is ok. When they teach kids that murder is the solution. Don't be surprised when the craps have really stinky fruit from their actions.

The biological parents of Cruz and his brother are unknown. His adoptive parents are dead (the father some years back from heart attack, the mother died last fall). The mother did call the police a number of times to come by personally and try to get the killer to listen to reason and obey the laws.

You can't blame the parents, either natural or adoptive. At least not without some evidence.

I don't know the family history. Mine is a general statement that many parents don't do their jobs. In my opinion that is the biggest factor that leads to violence and just bad behavior in general.

No matter what we do there will always be bad people doing bad things. As you know.

Then there is the Stone is an asshole factor.

You do post threads with some regularity, attacking your own posters by name. Goldi never did that. Whether you later delete that thread doesn't count for much. People following this forum know that that could happen to them if they start posting here.

I think your hands-off moderation contributes. You let some comments stand that probably shouldn't.

I think that LP, back when it had a true Biker Bar where threads could be moved so they didn't show up in the sidebar or comments was the best version of Pinguinite overall. I know it cost something in CPU/database response time but it was a worthy feature, comparable to FR's Smokey Backroom.

Goldi also took a dim view of endless seminar posting. For instance, one after another Ron Paul thread. Or seminar postings against the cops like Deckard does. Those don't represent you or the majority of posters on this forum but, to an outsider, it seems from the sidebar that that is what this forum is all about.

I liked Biker Bar and light moderation.

Moderating a Pinguinite forum really isn't that hard or time-consuming IMO. I have seen the moderator section for Pinguinite running my own private server so I am familiar with how moderation works on the forum. And I am not seeking the job of moderator.

Yes Gary Johnson was on the 2016 California ballot, but I did NOT vote for him, or the American Independent candidate Donnell Trump.

Romney is very much a pro-gay candidate, even more than Trump.

Some folks have had that figured out for a while.

Others, evidently - Not. So. Much.

I actually remember that LP thread. --- no gnu

Robinson posted at L.P. because he was challenged, and because he knew he would be treated fairly... JR did not meet the challenge, because in the end he could not justify many of his bannings. --- He banned many of us simply because his 'core group' disliked an individual's politics.. -- And the core group paid the Robinsons bills...

Treating individuals fairly, dispute their politics, is the key to a forums success, imo. -- By and large, I've been treated fairly, although many here are not.

Juvenile name calling is killing political argument at this site, imo.. Why can't we put a sock in it?

#85. To: BorisY, Trump emailed NIkolas Cruz back, FireIsland, buckeroo, Fred Mertz, Deckard, *Bang List* (#83)

"I think I am going to kill people"

The bio on one of his Instagram accounts read, "annihilator."

At one point in the chat, he wrote, "I think I am going to kill people." After a member told him not to say things like that, he said he was just playing.

During one of the anti-Semitic rants in the chat, Cruz spoke of his birth mother, saying, "My real mom was a Jew. I am glad I never met her."

Roger and Lynda Cruz adopted Cruz when he was a child. Roger died in 2004, and Lynda died last fall after an illness.

In his first message to the chat group, Cruz bragged about writing a letter to President Donald Trump -- and receiving a response. CNN reached out to the White House for comment about any correspondence to and from Cruz but has not heard back.

Here's the same kid David Hogg being coached by the producer to get his lines right.

He showed up on TV about 10 minutes after the shooting and started spewing his pre-programed zombie rap. It makes the whole massacre look like a false flag op, to me.

If there's such a thing as a crisis actor, this kid is it. It's not too difficult to imagine him in congress 15 years down the road. He's got that slimy politician look and feel.

FBI agent downplays son's film
By Howard Pankratz
Denver Post Legal Affairs Writer

May 13 - An FBI agent investigating the Columbine High School shooting whose son helped produce a video parody in which the school is destroyed says the film is a comedy and not a depiction of gratuitous violence.

Dwayne Fuselier also said the participation of his son, Scott, in the video, which was made more than two years before the April 20 massacre, does not compromise his ability to investigate the case....
