Of course, the world must change because some loopy 16yo Millennials are throwing a hissy fit. And the republic has failed entirely, the representatives elected by the people across the nation are corrupt or indifferent, and so all we need is to institute some sort of mob rule where laws get passed depending on how many angry demonstrators show up in the Beltway to demand some change. I loathe the idea of giving in to these whiny Millennials and their attempt at mob rule. Let them run for office, let them vote. But don't give in to the mob howling at Congress's door.

This thread isn't about you or hondo or Gary Johnson. You didn't even address a single post to the article. You just saw the word 'hondo' and charged at him blindly. I know it's a sruprise to hear but some people actually do come here to read an article and then comment on that article. Shocking, huh?

No different than any other politician, including Trump. Take out the space preceding trashes, and it comes us as the story of Gary Johnson throwing the cap & ball pistol that Austin Peterson gave him after his nomination at the Libertarian convention, into a trash can. As for your constant accusations that hondo voted for Gary Johnson, can you even prove that? Following the 2016 election, the party announced that it had achieved automatic ballot status in 37 or 38 states plus the District of Columbia. The only conclusion is that hondo only had a ~60% chance of living in a state where he could vote for LP's Johnson. Maybe hondo can tell us if Johnson was even available on his ballot or if he even voted in the 2016 election. As opposed to the usual sodomy innuendo you spew at him on thread after thread which has gotten quite dull and shop-worn.

I think he once said he voted for the Constitution Party candidate. Johnson was the Libertarian candidate. I don't even remember who the CP candidate was.

I recall some trolling he did with the usual Mitt-is-gay kind of graphics. Like this one (in the first 30 DDR-searched images for "mitt-is-gay"). But it is true. He did say that and ran that campaign and his later ones for governor the same way with the same kind of rhetoric. It may be trollish to post these things but that doesn't make it untrue. Romney is very much a pro-gay candidate, even more than Trump. And when he gets elected to the Senate, you'll probably hear some reminders from hondo about who and what Romney always was.
BTW, since you've hijacked this thread by attacking hondo in post #2, my own post #1 is the only post on this thread that discusses in any way the article used to begin this thread. IOW, you turned a legit news thread into a hondo bashfest because, well, that's just important to you. Anyway, the article is still about the upcoming Million Moron Millennials march (slated to go down in history as about as meaningful as the Million Homie March, the Million Moron Mommies March, etc.). It's not about how you feel about hondo. That's no secret to any of us. Nothing on this thread was about Gary Johnson until you decided to make it about Johnson. I notice that at the moment, Fox News is broadcasting some background footage of some early Million Moron Millennials (about 30 of them) staging a protest across the street from the WH with a "lie-in" protest, to look like a bunch of shooting victims. They're all bundled up. I noticed the student they focused on most was a black teen girl with glasses, in a down parka, who seemed to be taking 2 breaths/second even while lying on the ground. Or are we allowed to actually post about the content of this thread's article? That's now three posts I've made, relevant to this thread's topic. You have yet to post even one.
In the coastal hard-Blue states, they will. No doubt. But they already were anyway so it's no loss. I don't see any mass movement of youth voters turning out to vote for anything less than a pretty charismatic leader like 0bama. They did vote for him. But they didn't show up to vote for Dems not named '0bama' in 2016 or in the 2010 or 2014 midterms.
So I'm asking, just for the record, was Gary Johnson on your ballot as the LP candidate in the 2016 election and did you actually vote for him?

The various Million Moron Marches seldom succeed. People just don't like mob rule, hordes of people descending on the Capitol to try to force Congress to enact major legislation or else. It wasn't even very successful during its heyday during the civil rights fights and demonstrations in the Sixties over racial issues and the Vietnam war. We've had a lot of Million Moron Marches, going back a century now. Their track record is dismal as a way to enact public policy.
I think the correct question is how many lives will be saved by prohibiting law abiding decent people from carrying guns. If I were there and allowed to have a gun, i would have taken this punk out in 10 seconds.

The parents don't teach their kids right from wrong. The Democrats teach a calice disregard for human life. They teach if you have a problem that murder is ok. The biological parents of Cruz and his brother are unknown. His adoptive parents are dead (the father some years back from heart attack, the mother died last fall). The mother did call the police a number of times to come by personally and try to get the killer to listen to reason and obey the laws. You can't blame the parents, either natural or adoptive. You can't blame the parents, either natural or adoptive. At least not without some evidence. I don't know the family history. Mine is a general statement that many parents don't do their jobs. In my opinion that is the biggest factor that leads to violence and just bad behavior in general. No matter what we do there will always be bad people doing bad things. As you know.
