"There you go again!" ~Ronald Reagan Gay Johnson is living in your head, rent free 24/7/365. ![]()
#18. To: Gatlin, misterwhite, Liberator (#16) (Edited) Yep, with Rand Paul in etiher picture....I am staying on POINT. But Rand Paul is not in either picture. The guy you think is Rand is actually Harvey Keitel. The picture is kinda mediocre but that is who it is. If you don't believe me, just ask our own misterwhite, who takes his screen name from Keitel's character in Reservoir Dogs named (what else?) Mister White. Keitel went on to another iconic role in Tarentino's Pulp Fiction. The photo you posted is from the movie poster and soundtrack. You can see various angles of that shot from the movie trailer at YouBoob.
#19. To: Tooconservative (#18) Keitel went on to another iconic role in Tarentino's Pulp Fiction. The Wolf.
#20. To: misterwhite, Gatlin (#19) (Edited) Those really are Tarentino's best movies IMO. The rest just don't stack up. Kill Bill? Some interracial Western? That crappy Brad Pitt fake Nazi movie? None of them hold a candle to Tarentino's two great movies. I take it that you will confirm that those photos above are of your namesake, Harvey Keitel, and not Rand Paul?
#21. To: Tooconservative (#18) If you don't believe me, Thanks, I do believe you.

#23. To: Tooconservative (#20) (Edited) Amazing how that picture shows up among those of Rand Paul: Click Herel
#24. To: Tooconservative (#20) That crappy Brad Pitt fake Nazi movie? That one was bad. But I liked Kill Bill. True Romance(written by Tarantino) is terrific. Django wasn't bad.

Lenz: Rand Paul The Master of Disguise
#26. To: Gatlin, misterwhite (#23) Amazing how that picture shows up among those of Rand Paul: Click Herel Sure but look at this one of "Senate Dogs". Just an ordinary pic of the three walking with sunglasses badly photoshopped on their faces. Gatlin, you really should watch Reservoir Dogs sometime. And Pulp Fiction. Don't worry, there aren't any libertarians in either one.
#27. To: misterwhite, Gatlin (#24) (Edited) True Romance(written by Tarantino) is terrific. Never saw it but he only wrote it.
Django wasn't bad. It wasn't good either. His third great movie was Natural Born Killers. That one is pretty gritty. I still laugh over Rodney Dangerfield in a comedic role as the child-molesting father. Yikes! But he got justice too. Watching that movie back in the Nineties was a real punch in the gut. And there was his vampire movie also, From Dusk Till Dawn. Cluny was good in it as was Tarentino playing a psychotic sex killer, all on a journey in an RV with a Baptist preacher and his kids into Mexico. Gatlin should definitely watch all four of these movies. : )
#28. To: Tooconservative (#26) (Edited) I have seen this picture many times without the sunglasses added. I think dark coat and very light trousers went out of style in the '60s.
#29. To: Tooconservative (#26) ... there aren't any libertarians in either one. That reeally did make me laugh.
#30. To: Tooconservative (#26)
Do you recognize these two?
#31. To: Gatlin (#28) I think dark coat and very light trousers went out of style in the '60s. Libertarians (and libertarians) are not fashion plates.
#32. To: Gatlin (#30) Do you recognize these two? Matthew McConnaghy and Dan Rather?
#33. To: Tooconservative (#31) Funny....
#34. To: Tooconservative (#32) Get serious....that means you don't know? Do you want to know?
#35. To: Tooconservative (#27) Gatlin should definitely watch all four of these movies. I can't see well enough to watch movies. But otherwise, I am in good health. I still have sex with my wife every day, except during the month of August.
#36. To: Gatlin (#34) Get serious....that means you don't know? I might be able to guess if I had to. Like I'd give you the satisfaction... : )
#37. To: Gatlin (#35) (Edited) I can't see well enough to watch movies. You'd probably chew me out if you did see them. They're all pretty gritty and pretty bloody. Tarentino isn't afraid to go over the top.
I still have sex with my wife every day, except during the month of August. I knew that. LOL
#38. To: Tooconservative (#36) I won't tell your their names, but I will give you this clue:
#39. To: Tooconservative (#38) Al Franken and Rand Paul Join Forces to Protect Medical Marijuana from Jeff Sessions
#40. To: Gatlin, cannabis moguls, FireIsland, the pusher man (#30) Do you recognize these two? Yes, it's you and FireIsland planning the next cannabis stock purchase.
#41. To: hondo68, Gatlin, GrandIsland (#40) Yes, it's you and FireIsland planning the next cannabis stock purchase. Yeah, but they're not sentimental about buying those stocks. Just coldblooded stock traders. And they should be. I'm not sure why we should complain over people coolly picking stocks. Anyway, I'm not complaining about it.
#42. To: Gatlin (#38) I won't tell your their names, but I will give you this clue: Stuart Smiley and Aqua Buddha? I'm pretty sure I'm right this time.
#43. To: Tooconservative (#42) (Edited) You are getting colder ...
#44. To: Tooconservative (#42) Aqua Buddha I had to look that up ...
#45. To: Gatlin (#44) (Edited) I had to look that up ... And Stuart Smalley? A character written and played by some ex-senator back when he was on SNL in the Nineties. It opens with his most famous punchline.
Strangely, this was pretty much his entire claim to fame as a comic.
#46. To: Gatlin (#44)
Deal with it! ![]() Circumcision committee says.... You made the cut!
#47. To: Gatlin, Liberator, hondo68 (#44) Aqua Buddha
It is widely believed that this is the model of bong that Rand called the Aqua Buddha back in his college days. The story got out during his 2012 run for Senate when some girl he knew in college told a story about how Rand and a friend of his tried to kidnap her so they could force her to worship the Aqua Buddha, leading to this witty cartoon. You can see her tied up in the background. Anyway, now you know as much about Aqua Buddhas as I do.
#48. To: Tooconservative, *2020 The Likely Suspects* (#47) (Edited)
Blowback from the aqua buddha smear campaign, Rand Paul was elected to the US Senate. BTW, it was 2010. Gee, I hope that Gatlin's headache has gone away by now.
#49. To: hondo68 (#48) BTW, it was 2010. You're so right.
Gee, I hope that Gatlin's headache has gone away by now. Nope, we're both still here. And Rand is still in the Senate. LOL
#50. To: Tooconservative (#45) I knew that one ...
#51. To: Tooconservative (#27) True Romance(written by Tarantino) is terrific. Ah. But he wrote it real good.
#52. To: misterwhite (#51) Looks kinda like a waste of high-dollar talent. It must have bombed at the theaters or I would have heard of it. I see that IMDB gives it a 7.9/10 score though.
#53. To: Tooconservative (#52) Looks kinda like a waste of high-dollar talent. Well, Brad Pitt was really a cameo, so you can't count him. The rest were used well -- especially the scene with Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper. But yeah, everyone's in it.
#54. To: misterwhite (#53) Well, Brad Pitt was really a cameo, so you can't count him. Ever notice that his best roles are nearly all cameo appearances? He's the most successful supporting actor in history. But when he stars in something as a traditional male lead, it flops. I think Pitt is greatly overestimated as an actor.
#55. To: Tooconservative (#54) I think Pitt is greatly overestimated as an actor. He's had his moments -- Meet Joe Black, Seven Years in Tibet, Fight Club, Troy.
#56. To: misterwhite (#55) He's had his moments -- Meet Joe Black, Seven Years in Tibet, Fight Club, Troy. People only remember his cameos like Fight Club and Thelma and Louise. He just doesn't seem to have what it takes as a personality or an actor to sell himself as a lead actor. I think he's gotten too old to ever be a great actor. He has a career and will continue to make money but he will never be considered among Hollyweird's great actors. He will only be remembered for those cameos, where he left the audience wanting more.
