International News Title: 43% of French people don’t shower every day It turns out that an alarming amount of French people don’t shower every day *crinkles nose in disgust*. More than 40 per cent don’t regularly clean themselves, according to a new poll of French people’s habits. A further 24 per cent said they shower once every two days, and 11 per cent said they showered once every three days. The remaining eight per cent only clean every four days. Ewww. The average French person spends nine minutes in the shower when they actually get round to taking one. Virginia Mallet, head of hygiene company Initial France told French daily Le Figaro: ‘In France, we have a hard time admitting that poor hygiene is a factor linked to illness. ‘The simple act of washing one’s hands after going to the toilet is automatic in some countries, but in France we have always underestimated this act.’

#2. To: no gnu taxes (#1) You must be French. 🐒
#3. To: A K A Stone (#0) Are we supposed to care? It's no big secret anyway. A lot of the Hollyweirdos hang out in France and have adopted their attitudes. Johnny Depp and his supermodel wife are among the stinkiest, along with Matthew McConaughey. They've had people on sets ask them to take showers, give them deodorant and tell them to use it, etc.
#4. To: A K A Stone (#0) 43% of French people don’t shower every day Maybe they take baths instead?
#5. To: A K A Stone (#0) (Edited) I shower every day, except when I am back home. Then I never shower but I swim in the lake 6 times a day. When I shower, it is usually for ten minutes. I never use any sort of soap, shampoo or deodorant. Nor do I floss.

The point is that you are doing the right thing accolrding to dermatologists. They say, the more you wash, especially in hot water, the more likely you are to dry out and irritate your skin. You could be washing away good bacteria that naturally helps your skin and make small cracks that can lead to skin infections. Check it out: You Don't Have to Shower Every Day, Dermatologists Say A new study shows that bathing too often is actually really bad for your skin. If you take daily showers, you may be doing more harm to your body than good. A new study shows that bathing too often is actually really bad for your skin. /…./
#7. To: Gatlin (#6) You should shower or bathe just often enough to be sure you are not offensive to others.
#8. To: Vicomte13 (#5) I never use any sort of soap, shampoo or deodorant. If you don't use soap, how do you get clean when you are dirty and/or greasy? In the entire history of the world, the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments. #9. To: Gatlin (#6) If you take daily showers, you may be doing more harm to your body than good. A new study shows that bathing too often is actually really bad for your skin. I used to shower too much. It dried my skin, made it oilier because it was apparently trying to keep from drying out.
#10. To: Vicomte13 (#5) I never use any sort of soap, shampoo or deodorant. Nor do I floss. You stinky bitch. lol I'm the infidel... Allah warned you about. كافر المسلح #11. To: Tooconservative (#9) I shower DAILY, with soap... I've never had any problems. I'm the infidel... Allah warned you about. كافر المسلح #12. To: A K A Stone (#0) must be a reason for it like the temperatures are low in France, or perhaps there is a shortage of water as there is in the UK, no, the French don't smell the stink because there are smellier things around like their garlic breath
#13. To: sneakypete (#8) f you don't use soap, how do you get clean when you are dirty and/or greasy? Dirt washes off with water if you let it run. Grease is a special case. I rarely get greasy. If I do, I'll use soap on that part to get it off.
#14. To: Gatlin (#6) I stopped using soap and shampoo during my first 40-day water fast, After about 20 days without food, there was nothing to dilute the effects of any chemicals, and I would feel the power of the chemicals in cleaning products. About the same time I had to start drinking bottled water, because the chemicals in the regular tap water started to really drain me and make me feel sick. The first two weeks without shampoo (after daily washing with shampoo) was greasy and gross. But then the natural oils regulated themselves, and all of the greasy gross stopped, and my hair became much softer and smoother. So, the natural oils, when not stripped away, actually make your hair better. I haven't used shampoo now in years.
#15. To: A K A Stone (#0) France isn't the only country that has a hygiene problem. Surprisingly, we have that here in the U.S. as well.
#16. To: Vicomte13 (#13) Dirt washes off with water if you let it run. Grease doesn't,and part of sweat is fat. Fat is grease. In the entire history of the world, the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments. #17. To: paraclete (#12) the French don't smell the stink because there are smellier things around like their garlic breath Ahhh, garlic! LOVE it! The first guy that ate garlic and then convinced other people to buy and eat it was a born salesman. "Here, try it,it takes good! Honest! Would I lie to you?" In the entire history of the world, the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments. #18. To: sneakypete (#16) Grease doesn't,and part of sweat is fat. Fat is grease. Skin is grease. Our bodies are designed to exude oil. Natural oils are good.

That is because nearly 40% of french surrender monkeys are self deprecating muslims.
#20. To: Vicomte13 (#13) I use Ivory soap only. It allows water to clean you very well. Soap mixes with both grease and water. Ivory soap doesn't have any smell. BTW, not everyone is impressed by that lavender or leather scent one may exude by using anything with fragrances.
