Yeah, I'm still out here, with a little wear and tear. After complications delaying surgery, I underwent an aortic heart valve replacement and a five way bypass operation (1 artery, 4 veins). To do the vein bypasses, the vein material has to be harvested from somewhere. In my case, that was the left lower leg, from around the ankle to the knee. It takes a while for the body to adjust. Until then, sitting with the leg hanging down to the floor for any length of time causes the leg to swell. I'm just getting back to sitting at the computer.
Ouch... heal up.
